I have four of these in my RV and in the last week alone they have gone off four times for four different reasons. The slightest bit of water and these puppies are screaming! Outstanding product!

Had my fridge leak water out of nowhere. Thankfully we caught it quickly but could have been major hardwood floor damage. Bought these to protect against water damage in placing them under the fridge and dishwasher along with under the sink and in the basement. Battery life seems good although its only been 6 weeks. I've tested them and they do send an alert to my phone. I've recommended them to friends.

I need this in case my water heater leaks which I expect to happen any time since it's 20 yrs old. So I ordered the wi-fi model but they sent me the non wi-fi model, but I don't care because the little video in the listing that shows how to set up wi-fi is so freaking complicated that I had no intention of using it anyway. So the way it works without wi-fi is if it detects any water at all it sounds an alarm almost as loud as a smoke detector alarm. You can set the little box on the floor and if the floor gets wet the alarm sounds. Or you can attach the box to the wall and use the cord to detect water. Note that if you use the cord, make sure you plug it in all the way into the box or the alarm won't turn off. I licked my finger, touched the probes, and the alarm sounded so it's sensitive to any amount of moisture. It runs on two AAA batteries and will beep intermittently when they die, like a smoke alarm. I like this thing, definitely recommend it, especially if you don't need wi-fi.

Alarm is loud enough to be heard far away. Uses 9 volt battery which is much cheaper than those using CR123.

Sellers page says notifications to your phone are included. It is not you have to pay a subscription to get sms messages and app notifications. Going in the trash
