I love to try new flavour combinations, so fun seasoning kits like these always catch my eye, but this kit epically did with its unique classic Americana design!Although the seasoning kit is intended for burgers, spice blends like these are always very versatile and could be used to season many different dishes. I've enjoyed this seasoning on some chicken fillets, fish dishes and have even used it to roast some vegetables in. The possibilities are vast, and a kit like this is perfect for experimenting with flavours in the kitchen!The ingredients across the different spice blends aren't that unique, with ingredients such as sea salt, garlic and black pepper making an appearance in all the blends. Despite this, each blend tastes unique and are a total flavour bomb!At £9.99 for a total of 60g of seasoning, I do think this seasoning is a little expensive. But, with kits like these, you do pay for the novelty and design, not just the contents.Therefore, I think this kit would be best used as a gift for someone. It would make a wonderful gift for a foodie/burger lover, as it's a well packaged kit and the spice mixes are tasty.I'd recommend!

Loved the choices, really enjoyed experimenting with new recipes. The Cape Malay was amazing brought back fond memories of family holidays.

Really like that there are 8 different spices to choose from and that the quantities are so generous. I have tried the Namibian Kapana (has a nice bite to it), Cape Malay curry and the Tunisian Harissa so far - really enjoyed all of them! Next up… the Malawian Seafood spice! Only thing I’d suggest is providing some recipe ideas (although it is easy enough to find on the internet so this not such a big thing). Will definitely be buying more when I’ve used them up and as my family have a few birthdays coming up, a few as gifts.

Well packaged and designed and lovely flavours

I decided to get this selection of spices as I love the flavours of the American south, and wanted to try them out in my cooking.I am probably the only person in the world who has never had a burger, and doesn't even like the thought of one, but these spices can be used in so many ways.So far I have used different ones on chicken, salmon, trout and also on vegetable bakes. My particular favourite is the All American mixed with a little A1 sauce and used to make a marinade for chicken.All the packets are salt and pepper based, with different herbs and spices to create the different flavours. Personally I found they all have a little too much salt in them (as I never use salt in food I am ultra aware of the salt taste) but having said that, they are a great selection. Each one is a sample size, and hopefully you can buy full sizes of your favourites.The way they are presented in a beautiful 1950s American diner type box would make them great for gifting.

I thought it would be good to try these spice mixes to add a bit of variety of flavour to my cooking. Unfortunately, the main ingredient of all of these mixes is salt and this is predominantly what they taste of. I didn’t think much flavour of the other herbs and spices came through, they just make the food really salty.You get six sachets presented in a cardboard box. The sachets are tear open so once they are opened, if you don’t use all the flavour mix then you have find another way to store them as they will spill from the sachet. It would be better if they were presented in some sort of resealable receptacle.

Great bargain for hard to find spices. And comes with a recipe book to get you started.

These spice blends make up a great sampler of regional seasonings. They’re great for burgers, but also other dishes in certain flavor profiles (use Texan BBQ in some chili or Route 66 in curry). Each pouch is about a single use. They do contain added salt, so keep that in mind if you’re adding more seasonings. I appreciate that the large box looks impressive for gifting, but it also seems kind of silly for how compact this set of little pouches could have been.
