These are the books that my piano teacher asked for so I went along with it. I feel like they are not the most friendly to the user, but they do the job.

I used these books when I was a child, and I was very happy to find they are still available for my own child. They teach and reinforce basic theory and haven't changed in 20 years. This is an excellent purchase!

I have been a professional musician for over 40 years, but it's always good to go back to basics.

Got me through a tough Theory class!

I've used these books for 30 years in my piano/voice studio, and am now getting ready to use them to teach theory to my high school choirs. This series is excellent for quick lessons during class and just a little homework. Also, rhythmic notation is covered, which is lacking in many theory programs, and my more advanced students are given a chance to do a little prep for college entrance exams. Although not specifically designed for piano theory (for that, use Edith McIntosh's theory program), these books are great for any musician. I highly recommend this product.
