Great system!
This unit was packaged well and easy to install. It cools my 300sf bedroom/den nicely and is relatively quiet. When dealing with very humid weather mine does need to be drained more often. I average every 4-6 hours depending on the humidity levels. I usually turn the temp on the unit up a bit during these times to save the hassle. Still feels nice when set around 75 instead of my usual 72.I used to have the unit on the floor, but draining is much easier now that I've placed it on a small glass top table. Also slides nicely and the added height disperses air more evenly in the room.To drain: I simply unplug the unit, detach the hose, roll it towards the edge of the table, and proceed to drain into a container. There are two spouts that need to be drained. I also keep a couple rags handy during this time as inevitably some water will slightly drip.It also helps to slightly tip the unit backwards while draining the water. Takes some practice, but now I can do it quickly with one arm. Just be careful as the unit is on casters and can tip if you don't have a good grasp of it. I kind of "hug" it as I'm tipping/draining.If it's very hot (90 plus degrees) the compressor often takes breaks to cool itself and it makes a "jerking" sound. Once its cooled it resets & works just fine, but it can do this every few minutes or so during this type of heat. It's just a small system so that's to be expected. I alleviate this issue by turning it off for a while and give it a break.Overall, I'm quite pleased with this product. Just understand that it has limitations due to its size so keep your expectations reasonable during a heatwave.Update 09/06/24: After a full summer w/this AC I can say it was well worth the investment. We've had some intense heat this summer and our second floor was getting steamy. This little powerhouse has kept our entire upstairs at an average of 74-75 degrees (I run my home AC at 74.)I place this in my master bedroom w/the door open. The cool air drifts down the hall to our two bedrooms at the end.As I mentioned prior, it does tend to "jerk" a little here and there. Takes some getting used to as it wakes me at night. I turn it down during sleep hours to alleviate this issue.I check the filter frequently, but it's never been dirty even once.In July I ran my unit at 72 degrees full time for the entire month. My electricity bill increased by $45. Not bad!I like this system so much I'm getting a second. Really pleased.

Pleasantly surprised!
This air conditioner works better than expected. It easily cools the space I needed it for which is an 800 square foot upstairs bonus room. The machine is quiet and small enough to fit in most spaces. For the price, I believe this is probably the best on the market. It really blows out a powerful and continuous flow of air. I highly recommend!

Good choice
“Chill-2-D-2” is what I named it btw .This small powerhouse is currently cooling my entire 1,200sq ft house ( with the help of a little box fan). It’s using less energy than the house HVAC per day. Easy to set up even though it’s heavy but it does have wheels which once out of the box makes for easy placement. C2D2 has many sturdy options for venting that are included. Comes with a remote control so you don’t have to stand in front of the frost vortex it produces even when the fan is on low. I was hesitant to turn the fan up to high thinking that it would skidder backwards from the force but to my surprise it held its ground. The drain hose and vent duct are long enough to be used nearly anywhere. Easy to use functions on the control panel fan speed, automatic swing for the fin , dry mode. The temperature range is impressive as well. C2D2 even has washable filters that are easy to remove and reinstall. Money well spent.

Easy install
So far so good! I got the 14,000 BTU unit and it is sufficiently cooling my living room and kitchen area. Considering the output, it’s relatively quiet too. I’ll let you know if it changes. But the installation was easy and so far I’m about four or five days into this and it’s operating Really well!

Perfect for my workspace
I’ve had a terrible time finding a way to cool off a single room house not attached to my main house. It’s about 450 feet with a window but can get very hot in the summer. I tried fans, ventilation, mini air conditioners, nothing worked. The room is my workspace so I need quiet as well a comfort in order to stay working for hours without breaking a sweat. I finally bought this Humhold 14000 BTU and I could kick myself for not doing it sooner. I absolutely love it! So far it has been a game changer. I actually like hanging out it the room now.It was easy to setup and comes with everything needed. It takes up a little floor space as expected but it looks pretty good and rolls to get it positioned as I need. I didn’t want a permanent air unit in my fairly small window since it’s the only window in the room, so with the Humhold I still get the cool air and a little sun light. I plan to remove the small window attachment for the winter and store until the next summer since it's so easy to install once you get it to the size of your window. At first start it seemed a little loud but once I get the room cooled to a level I’m happy with I turn it to the quiet mode and it maintains that coolness very quietly. It’s pretty powerful so it doesn’t take too long to cooI the room. I know it’s standard stuff these days but I love having the remote to change settings while on the phone or busy at the desk.I Highly recommend this unit to anyone suffering through the heat in a small room hoping a bunch of fans will solve the issue. The only obvious recommendation I would submit is to make sure you know the size of your room and order the correct BTU size.

Great value for the money!
Great portable AC unit. We used it for a small building instead of upgrading the central air unit which would have been very expensive. The unit is efficient and cools the room very quickly. It solved our issue very well and we are very happy with the purchase. It was a good value for the money compared to spending thousands on upgrading the central air. Even in Florida is is very capable of cooling the room with various fan speeds. Very happy with the purchase!
