ClassicFlame 33" 3D Infrared Quartz Electric Fireplace Insert with Safer Plug and Safer Sensor, Black

We are in the middle of a massive home renovation and we will be removing our wood burning fireplace, so I was checking out what options existed for electric inserts. Needless to say I was crestfallen when I went to the local fireplace center store and saw the $1200 options that were so fake they were almost embarrassing. I had almost resigned myself to settling for that. On a whim I decided to see what options existed on Amazon and I stumbled upon this one for a fraction of the cost. I purchased and it arrived in “Amazon Prime” time. I’m thrilled with how realistic this one is. If you fixate on it, you will be able to tell it’s not real, but as ambiance goes, this is going to be perfect. i cant wait for my home reno to be in the final stages so i can fire it up where it belongs—in the space that we once burned logs!

We’ve had our insert since Feb 2020. We did have a problem with the blower however we contacted the manufacturer ( make sure you register your product) for replacement part. Not gonna lie,, it did take two and half months to get the replacement but I finally spoke to Cynthia ( technician) who read all the notes in our claim and promptly sent out the replacement part without any issues and we received the item in a timely manner .The different setting for the glowing flames is a joy.It’s a nice set up when you don’t have a fireplace but can enjoy the warmth and the light show.

We have a 20" x 20" room with valuted ceiling and it was ALWAYS cold in the winter. We have a wood burning fireplace with gas line and it had a gas log set in it. There is a fan but we lost more heat than we got. It was a waste of time and energy. I blocked the flue and sealed off all the air vents and installed this in the fireplace. First time in the winter the room is comfortable. The flame affect is very nice looking also. I I definitely recommend this fireplace insert heater. A big thank yu to the company for all their help.

My old one lasted 20 years and I replaced it. This one is so much better and no assembly, just pull it out of the box and I screwed it into the old holes in the faux fireplace and turned it on. It was about five min from the time I opened the box until I was done and all I needed was a screwdriver for two screws. Works great

The media could not be loaded.  So when my 7ish year old fireplace took a dump the other week, I ordered a Turbro replacement insert from Amazon. It had mostly good reviews, was priced right & the dimensions lined up. After getting it, I found the “flames” looked absolutely fake compared to my original one. I immediately did a return & ordered this more expensive Classic Flame unit which is actually made by the same company as my original. It actually has an improved flame effect, & it fits great! Sometimes ya get what ya pay for. It is interesting the disparity between models when it comes to prices. The Turbro was $159, & this unit was $282, but I’ve seen them in the same size going for up to $500 for other brands. Would definitely recommend the ClassicFlame

It is an excellent insert but Amazon's listing shows it with a glass rock option that it does not have . It is log only. The company called immediately to explain and ask if we still wanted it. We did and had it in just a couple days. Very good service. it produces a realistic flame in multiple colors and can be run with or without heat.

I noticed that my fireplace insert was just not putting out enough heat. I measured the opening and researched thru Amazon to find one that would fit, and look right. I thought it might not fit exactly, maybebe off half an inch or so, but ordered it anyway.Perfect Fit!!! It works perfectly as well! No glitches! Husband is reallyimpressed with the look of it and instant heat! I would definitely recommend this product for anyone needing an insert!

Bought it to replace ventless fireplace (hate ventless, stupid cheap contractor gimmick).PRO: Looks nice and showed up undented and functional (always a plus nowadays right?!?). Modified fireplace and made custome trim to go around it. Looks great and added nice background during xmas or winter days. Spouse loves that.CON: My smaller, basic, walmart purchased element heater puts out more warm air. The "infrared" element glows on top and puts out "some" flow, but you better plan on hanging close to it (2-3 foot max radius, and it doesn"t "aim"...meaning it just blows straight out) It aint really heating up a regular room well. Got a large den with vaulted ceiling (so popular these days), you can forget it making a dent. The remote worked well...for 3 mos. Then stopped. Opened it up, corrosion at the batteries, battery terminal, and a lil where it worked down to the board. Looked for replacement or some customer service...yeah. good luck on that one lol.SUM: Gotta be realistic. You want to heat up a room....in the end you better have a working HVAC, or get a vented gas or propane fireplace to really make a difference. This unit WILL NOT DO that. A real wood fireplace insert would be just a good and really heat up a room, with AMBIENCE. wasnt in the budget and we dont even have a real chimney. Contractor grade home design shortcuts. BUT...for the price, it looks great, doesnt make too much noise, flames look cool, good back ground ambience, not super hard to install if you do some prepwork. Worth over 500 bucks? Ehhhh.. NO... but just pick your battles. IN the end. We dealt with limitations of unit. Moved ottoman near it, run it in the background, and the dogs just lay on ottoaman and get some heat... so their happy. Good luck everybody.

Unit fit perfectly into old wood fireplace opening. It heats all of our basement so well! It used to be freezing and is now so comfortable. Be mindful if purchasing the faceplate because the bottom fits lower on the frame of the fireplace so you need to raise the fireplace in order for it to fit. If the unit can't fit completely inside the old opening then this isn't possible. Ours fits exactly without being able to put it further inside the opening so we have to modify the faceplate

Ordered the insert to warm up our living room, in chilly Calgary. Our old one had broken along time ago. The insert arrived damaged, even though the box was clearly labelled "Fragile". I call Amazon straight away - i was not impressed at over $500 to arrive broken was not a good initial impression.Amazon reached our to the company on our behalf and from there I dealt with Brock! He was first class - provided us clear and concise instructions on how to receive the replacement and answered any questions we had right away. The replacement arrived this morning. We already have it plugged in and the heat coming off of it is amazing. Our once icebox main floor is now comfortable and the fireplace looks amazing as well. Even the pups approve!Thanks for everything Brock!

This product replaced the fireplace for my entertainment center. Fits perfect and there was one that was 200.00 dollars less but the reviews were terrible, there may have been one good one. This one had all really good reviews and with the added warranty i will have 5 years warranty. As they say you get what you pay for. I love it!!!

Fantastic authentic , gives the room great ambiance, plus the warmth is great on cold days.
