These are cute straw covers.

There are several straw end caps in my order, all the same size. They all have the same shape, having been modeled after cartoon style or video game style mushrooms, although they do all display a different main color. These colors include red, yellow, lavendar, blue, light blue, and blue-green, overlaid onto a white background color, with white spots peppered through their specific mushroom color. They also all have happy cartoon faces.This mushroom cap has an indent in the bottom, which is where the straw drinking tip is meant to be inserted. The caps are attached to the straw by means of a ring slipped onto the straw body, which is then connected to a strip, which then connects to the mushroom cap. Therefore, whenever the cap is removed to use the straw, the cap can be allowed to freely hang off to the side. But be mindful of this strip, as it is thin. Tugging on it with too much force, for example, has the potential to create tears, etc.Made from silicone, or rubber, this material is quite solid and firm when pressed on, except of course for the spots with pre-cut indents or holes. While in no way impossible to scratch or nick, it also isn't super easy to do so. Likewise, pets that tend to chew things up will likely still be able to do so, although with a bit more effort put into the task. Do be careful, though, with these caps being near pets or small kids, as these caps are also small in size.Also know that these straw caps will fit large straws well enough, and are just barely able to tightly fit jumbo size straws. This is great, as it can be difficult to find caps to fit jumbo size. But straws that are below large size will fit these caps too loosely to be very effective, as the caps will tend to just flop around and fall off.I like using straw end caps for a couple reasons. First, they do seem to help keep debris off the drinking tip of the straw. Although this is clearly most effective if the cup also has a lid of some kind. And secondly, they have the potential to help identify which beverage belongs to which person, thereby hopefully avoiding unnecessary and accidental germ sharing. Obviously this is most effective with beverages contained in cups that look alike.Based on these observations, I therefore find this material to be of good quality with a reasonable level of durability. Plus I like their visual design. 5 out of 5 stars.

Adorable mushroom straw covers for a 10 mm straw. I love that there is a variety of colors. Such a cute idea and they protect your straw from bugs or other flying debris lol. :) I would recommend if your straw size is 10mm. They do not fit on smaller or larger sizes.
