Playlearn Fiber Optic Light 4 Pack Multicolored Set 9" Light Base (9" Four Lamps)

I got this product on time. It was wonderful for a family's birthday. I put it on the table and it was so beautiful. Everyone complimented on it. Actually I bought two. I love it so much.

Way better product for the money than the same lamp by Westminister. I ordered two - one from Sensory Education and one from Westminster. This one came securely packaged and worked perfectly. The other one had no protective packaging; just a thin plastic sleeve and not surprisingly was broken upon arrival. My daughter loves this lamp. The fiber optic strings are pretty as well as the "crystals" in the bottom. You're not getting a super high quality item, but for the price, it's perfect.

Probably best as decoration. If allowing children around it, direct supervision is recommended. The fibers seem to be plastic, which can be kinked or pulled out. For the price I wasn't expecting any ability to control the colors or intensity, just slow cycling colors.Base is a little bright for a night light and tends to outshine the fibers.DC adapter should probably have micro-USB on the base unit. The pin has been snapped off inside of mine.Yay for the battery-powered option! 3xAAA

I purchased this light on prime day purely for the nostalgic value. We had a light kind of like this when I was growing up. Unfortunately, it doesn’t live up to the memories ☹️ Although the base is very pretty, it is the only part of the light that really “lights up.” The very top of the fibers also light up, as I tried to show in my pictures, but as the pictures also show, this part of the light is dim at best. In fact, if you are looking at the light head on, you can’t even really see the fibers. Another disappointing element is the quick changing color. I love that the colors change and I thought this might add a nice vibe to my classroom (I’m a high school teacher). Instead, the colors change fast and I feel a little like I’m at a rave. Not the best for a classroom. All in all, I’ll keep the light since it wasn’t too expensive - but I definitely don’t recommend it and wouldn’t buy it again.

I've been adding a few more kinds of ornamental, decorative, colored lamps to my household. Though I am visually impaired, with only a little "tunnel vision" in my right eye, I have always enjoyed "ornamental lighting," which Mom has also always enjoyed and made plentiful for the family, from my very early days. I'm never ready to put away holiday lights, and have, gladly resorted to putting colored LED bulbs in most of even my ordinary lamps; still, I wanted a few more "magic touches," especially after Mom bought me a rotating, battery operated Christmas scenery/projector lamp, and I ordered a battery operated Fiberoptic lamp and a set of 2 for Mom. We have been enjoying them so much that we're like, GOING THROUGH THE BATTERIES; so I bought this one, which came with a USB cord! I, then, wanted another one for my kitchen, so I ordered some USB adapters, (to allow for more options to plug the USB powered things in,) and also ordered another of these lamps, which I received, yesterday, and Mom really likes it too, so, eventually I'll most likely be ordering one for Mom.

As soon as this came out of the box, it became a favorite sensory item for our students. One decided that it became her baby and held it and cradled it. Another swished the fiber optics over his fingers, exploring the lights and the feeling. This fiber optic lamp is vibrant, durable, and a must-have in a class or your home.

It's kind of ugly with the chrome base and the logo on it.

This is fantastic. I bought this for a child with ASD and he fell in love with it. I ended up buying more as lots of children at the school enjoyed using them in there calming center. The changing of colors is the right speed to be very soothing and relaxing.

This is a great addition to my daughter’s sensory room. She loves this so much. The brightness is great, it’s perfect sizing and really sturdy made. Colours are great too. Would recommend.

My son has had these for a number of months now and plays with them most days. They are fantastic quality and have outlasted a lot of other bigger fibre optic lamps we've had, as lots of the strands tend to fall out. These haven't though, and they are played with and thrown around a lot! They are bright and colourful too and well worth the money.
