Slips on bar.
I have tried several different cups and my phone would not fit. Was really hoping this one would work but it didn't. It went down in the holder a little more than the others, but no where far enough. You have to put this together somewhat, which is really ok. However, the clamps to hold the cup on to the bar does not do a good job at all. I could turn it with my hand, much less putting a heavy cup in it. The plastic is also flimsy and not strong. I would not recomment this cup holder.
