My grandson who is one loves playing with this (and so do my older grandchildren).Excellent purchase. Very sturdy for toddler usage. On the negative product is quite small, the picture is a little misleading.

It's an excellent size to carry about and makes a lovely little busy board.There are numerous buttons to switch on and off the lights on the police car, in addition to one for the traffic signals. Additionally, it features a push button horn and key-operated ignition sound. It needs two AAA batteries, which are not provided and are inserted behind a wooden panel that is fastened with two screws in the back. Great for children with sensory issues.

This is a lovely wooden toy, the wooden frame is very smooth and tactile, and it's lightweight so is easily portable. It does require two AAA batteries (not included).There are sound effects - turning the key sounds like it starts the engine, and of course the horn button. I'm very pleased that while these sound effects are fun for children, they aren't too loud - it would be fine if they play with it on public transport or in a waiting room.Various other on/off buttons turn on the headlights, rear light and internal light. The twiddly blue dial turns on the flashing red and blue lights - they start off flashing slowly, but the more you turn the dial, the faster the lights flash.Plugging in the cable turns on another internal light inside the rear of the car - this slowly changes colour which is something extra for the children to notice. The long silver switch turns the traffic lights on/off.There's lots to keep children's attention on this toy and I'd recommend it.

The board is well made with bright colour and different ways to interact with those colours. The board comes with various sounds related to police car which is further fun along with the lights. We started assigning our kid task of switching on a particular light on the police car and then she tries all different options until she gets the correct one. There are a range of different kind of buttons on the board, from regular press switch and rotor switch to keys to start the car. I have attached a video showing operation of different buttons. These different buttons are very helpful to teach her different motoring skills.The board needs 2 AAA batteries which remain in a secured place in the back of the board. The finish on the edges and corners of the board is smooth so there is no concern of getting hurt by the board. A great fun toy to keep toddlers engaged for a long time indeed.
