HME Products Game Hanging Gambrel

Haven’t gotten to use it yet, but it’s sturdy and delivered to my door cheaper than the sporting goods stores!

I used this gambrel to hang a deer today and the product worked exceptionally. This is a well designed gambrel and the materials are top notch.The hooks that are used to secure the legs right above the rear knees are perfectly shaped and sized to keep a deer or other game from sliding off while skinning and cutting. The supports on the inside of the gambrel add strength and rigidity, and the rope/ hook loop at the top center is closed off to prevent it from coming detached if you must hoist the animal it up. The textured powder coat finish adds a nice protective layer and attractive look. While the width is perfect for deer and smaller animals, it wouldn't be suitable for hanging larger animals like moose and elk; keep in mind that this model is designed for deer and that the company does make a larger version that is not only wider, but also holds more than twice the weight. For the price (I paid under $10) it is a steal. It is perhaps the nicest gambrel I have seen at any price point for that matter. Don't hesitate on the purchase... pull the trigger (pun intended).

I've been wanting one for a while and really needed one that had a handy carry case for working out in the field and this is exactly what I thought it would be. For me it's a winner.

Have not used the hanger yet.Looking at it it’s well made and looks sturdy.I don’t think I would have any problem hanging white tail deer.For bigger game, I might re-evaluate or use a different product that is wider

I'm using this for.deer, rabbits and I even used it for a turkey the other day. It's not going to break and for the money, it's a solid purchase.

This should come in handy. I’m getting too old to pick one up to put in atv rack.

very well constructed. we are a custom processor. will easily hold an antelope or deer even on a single side.
