I had this CNC fully assembled within 4 songs. By the next day, I had a working understanding of the Grbl Candle software, and how to import g-code from other applications. There is a crazy amount of things to learn for CNC, but this little machine seems very beginner friendly. I've only had this for a couple days, so I will update this review if I have an future concerns!

I am quite pleased with the ease of assembly. Step-by-step instructions were clear and not confusing. However, the software provided wasn't very easy to load. After running two of the three sample jobs I was unable to figure out how to design in Candle. I switched to Easel on my laptop and found it very easy to use for design. I have yet to run a job using Easel, but I'm really looking forward to playing with it over the weekend. Yes, I'm going to have a lot of fun with my new toy, because this is what Big Boys do. We have fun with the stuff we like! I already ordered the Y-axis extension kit and more collets.

Like the desktop set up and the cleaner wiring harness. Works well and being a first time user of cnc have only ruined a couple of bits :-(Do not like the bed, difficult to fasten material to the bed, and never seems to line up the way you want it to.

Bough this over a month ago, could not get it to make any design. I wanted to make PCBs, but could only get it to drill down and then it cuts a tiny square. I have used several different cad and design programs, it wouldn't work with any of them. Maybe have the bug that some has talked about, I don't know and can't get help. I emailed Genmitsu for help and no response. I had plans to upgrade and even get a second unit for our winter home if I liked how it worked. That won't happen, I'll probably get another unit but it won't be a Genmitsu product!

I had a minor issue with the machine and Sainsmart worked through the issue to its final resolution. This is my first cnc and I will surely look at their larger models when I’m ready to upgrade

This router is awesome 👍. Software rocks everything that I have bought from Genmitsu has been Quality.

I bought the CNC because of the great reviews, i had a couple of issues with some of the components but the customer service for this company was so awesome that if over compensated for the problems. The machine is a great introduction to CNC milling 👍🏿

I remove the store because the RPMs are not well-controlled, but that is the only issue with his item. Does a great job for what I needed.
