This bedspread seems sturdy and well-made even as it's light as a feather. It's oversized so even on my 10" queen sized mattress with a 6" box spring, it hangs down to the rails, and is amply long enough to fold over the pillows if you prefer. (I don't fold it over he pillows, and it reaches all the way to the floor at the foot of the bed.) I haven't washed it yet so not sure how the shedding will go; the label does warn it normally does produce a lot of lint.It's also very pretty; the swags & medallion makes it feel old-fashioned but the oversized dots make it more contemporary. Overall, love it!

I love the pattern and it is lightweight for summer. I bought a queen size for a queen size bed, but wish I would have purchased a king size. I like my bedspreads to go all the way to the floor and this one dosent hang down very far on the sides of the bed. My mistake, the dimensions are stated. I should have measured. All in all, I love the bedspread.

I needed a new look for my guest bedroom. I have a queen size bed, and this is a very lovely bedspread. It is a very nice quality.

This bedspread is incredibly comfy and stylish. Since it is cotton it is actually cool to the touch yet warm on a cool summer night. I love the weight of it, it kind of hugs your body. I just replaced my queen bed for a king and it still works on my king sized bed. Perfect for my needs.

Have washed this bedspread three times and it is still shedding little cotton balls everywhere. Not the quality I expected for the price.

Let me just start by saying this is a visually beautiful bedspread. However, it's very thin with fluffy bits for the design. Seriously, it's made of the same extremely lightweight cotton that hospital "blankets" are made from, then has a kind of fluffy quality, but only where there is the design. Even in the Summer, in my 72 degree house with the ceiling fan running while I sleep, I have to underlay this with a lightweight quilt because it's just too light. I was expecting it to be at least 3x as thick as it really is for the price. Three stars for the stunning visual and how oversized it is, but those other two stars lost are a pretty big deal.

This bedspread is just what I wanted, I was so tired of taking off throw pillows at night and putting the throw pillows on in the morning, what a waste of time, with this bedspread I just tuck the spread up under my bed pillows the old fashioned way and it looks so nice, just like making my bed when I was a child, so easy, not more throw pillows to deal with, the quality of the chenille is good quality, I recommend this to all the old fashioned gals out there.
