Star Wars Child's Deluxe Stormtrooper, Small

Best costume ever! Bought this for my 8 year old son, medium fit great. Put tape around the shoulder pads and legs to make it lay flat. Got several comments, and had strangers stop us to take his picture. Yes, a bit flimsy, but it's a Halloween costume, not a real uniform. Did the job nicely.

I ordered this for my 6 year old grandson last December. It was a little large on him, but he didn't care! The photos at Christmastime were so cute! Worth the money if you're looking for a nice costume! Great quality too.

My children love costumes and we have about thirty different superheroes and princesses. I bought this costume in a size medium for my average-sized six-year-old son - it's a little long, but otherwise fits nicely. This item is standard quality for children's Halloween costumes, but I think the price is a little high. I have similar costumes for my son that reguarly retail for about 25% to 50% less in other stores and online. This costume seems fairly durable, even though we'll use it every day for indoor playtime. The foam armor pieces are a nice addition, but they are certainly very thin and flimsy - lightweight enough for a child to run around in, but not thick enough to hold their shape for years to come. The helmet / mask is very lightweight plastic and will crack if handled roughly or stepped on.

The material by itself is shoddy, the "armor pads" do not keep their shape. The shoe coverings would not stay on the shoes and the straps that go under the shoes, broke after walking around the house, after he tried it on. The 2 piece plastic helmet (must be secured with Velcro) did not secure properly. The tiny velcro pieces were not even aligned properly to secure a decent fit, and the 2 helmet pieces overlapped when trying to press the Velcro together causing it to spread apart. The "Deluxe" description is NOT on the packaging, it is provided by the vendor and is misleading. I am severely disappointed in this product, I was hoping for the best. Returned it.

I ordered this (using my mother's account) to wear to the premiere of The Last Jedi. I am a 5 ft. 4 in. man with a 30 inch waist and the Large fit me, albeit rather snugly. The armor pieces are foam and only present on the front, and the back is solid white nylon. The breastplate rode up a bit when sitting straight or leaning forward, but was perfectly comfortable once I was leaning back in a theater chair. The helmet is a full, two-piece thin plastic helmet with both front and back detailed, and it fit my head, though it is a tad small for an adult. I wanted something (that wasn't expensive) that had actual segments of armor and a full helmet, instead of just a nylon print and a face mask. That's exactly what this is, no more, no less. I am quite satisfied.

NOT FOR HUSKY KIDS. Last year I bought a different Star Wars costume (Green General Clone Trooper) for my son in a size Medium, also brand Rubies. It fit, but was terribly tight. So this year when he wanted to be a Storm Trooper, I naturally bought a size Large. The size Large fits him around (a bit loose, but not bad), but somehow is for a child at least 8" taller. Since he loved it, I returned it for a Medium which is the right height but nearly skin tight around the middle. Since the fabric used is very thin and see-through he has to wear long johns and a T-shirt underneath, otherwise you can clearly see his underwear. He has a 29" waist, 30" chest, 31" hips, 54" tall, and weighs 82 lbs. The Velcro on the back scratches the fabric immediately. I'm not sure this would withstand long-term play. But it looks very good on.

It was a bit too large for my son, but it was cold outside and with heavier clothes underneath the costume was perfect. My son loved it. The helmet was the best part being that it looked like an actual one when it was on his head. I would buy from the same seller next year if they have the costume my son wants.

got this for the GISHWHES scavenger hunt for my team mate to wear. Shes 5'2 and it fit her perfectly! Cheaper then the adults. Not the best quality though, you get what you pay for.

disappointing for a deluxe: fit too big, cheap material, helmet is not one piece and the two parts keep on detaching.

Excellent costume for the price. The helmet is two pieces, held together with Velcro. A slim fit, narrow neck and waist, relatively long legs.
