The pot that this lovely plant was in was cracked and broken, it was lucky that I had purchased bamboo coverings for both my artificial plants, we taped up the pot and then covered it with the bamboo covers.

Pot and cement base was smashed but I just replanted in sand. And it looks great

Excellent plant. Put it in a dark corner on the lounge and it lit up the room.Only if you touch it you will see it’s not real.I placed it inside my own pot though

A great looking large palm but arrived in a cracked pot.Apart from the light green stems the palm is very realistic.It takes a while to bend all the leaves, slightly drooping gives realism to the plant.Moss in the pot and trunks.I chose the matching pot to complement the plant.

First, the delivery: I ordered late on Sunday night, and it arrived on Tuesday morning. Wow! How do they do that? The stems (trunks) of this palm are exceedingly lifelike, but the green foliage is somewhat less so - it's passable rather than brilliant. It's worth spending some time (an hour?) in arranging the fronds into natural arches, as the outcome is then much improved: one learns how to bend the leaves to best effect, as they are very pliable and respond to patient attention. The height is almost exactly the advertised 5.5ft, but the overall effect is massive and architectural (width almost 3ft). In sum, I regard this item (made in China) as good value for money provided one does not expect to deceive friends about its realism at less than 5ft range. For me, it's done the intended job: I like it. It comes in a 10" plastic-terracotta pot.

I have always grown real ferns in the past keeping some for over 30years! However as I am getting older and the large plants are quite heavy to handle I decided to try an artificial plant.I was ready to return if they did not look real.I am pleased to say I am more than happy with this purchase. It arrived within 48hrs of placing the order. Well packaged and no smells(I noticed this was mentioned in reviews for other suppliers).It took about one hour to arrange the leaves in a realistic form. I was impressed with the central spickes that always appear in real ferns before a leaf opens. The stems also look real.There was large crack in the base pot but I could wrap this with tape. I still gave the product 5 stars because the pros outweighed this small problem. When researching this product noticed many artificial plans do not have a pot at all. The pot provided meant it was easy to drop this into one of my own larger pots and surround with compost.I would recommend this product, well worth the purchase price. Looks excellent in the dark corner where no real plant will grow.If thinking about buying another artificial plant I will look for this supplier again.
