These are nice, lightweight little clips - but they do not have a particularly strong hold. If you're looking for something with a tight grip, buy a different brand. They are effective at holding things together, but they don't really press your pieces together.

I had purchased some 2" long rubber tipped clamps years ago, and recently needed more for a project.I read all the reviews of on-line sellers of this type of product.A lot of reviewers complained that these clips were weak. It's true they are not as stiff as the ones I saw at the local hardware stores.But that suits me just fine, because they are plenty strong for my hobby projects! And I don't want to end up with aching hands after using these clips for 2-3 hours! These are prefect for me.Strongly recommend.

I did not read the size description when I purchased these. They were not big enough for the intended use but works well for clips on chip bags.

This strong little clip is identical to what originally was provided with my sous vide. It came with only 2. So am very glad I bought these because they're perfect for a number of things in my household. Really, really strong clip. Especially for it's size! Only About the length of my thumb but holds just really about anything ! My husband took some for his workshop, I shared some with a neighbor, use for all the chip bags ( so much stronger than ANY "chip clip" too) , used to run artificial Ivy placement before permanent attachment. There's just so many reasons why you need a few of these handy...Definitely recommend.

You get a bunch for a pretty low cost… But they are absolutely for light duty tasks only. You can get about half of them for the same price at Walmart but they will be heavy duty and hold things much sturdier. If you have a light duty jobs and these will probably be good for you. But if you need him to hang on to something like a plastic drop cloth to cover your plants on a raised garden bed like I did you’re going to want something heavier duty.

Clips have very little force. This is written in the description, but holding more than some paper/card is probably more than they can handle. I'm still not sure what exactly these are best suited for.
