A well manufactured pair of waterproof lights designed for the small boat owner.These LED lights are only 5.4 Watts in power but give off an illumination level similar to much larger units and feature an array of 27 LEDs enhanced by an optical lens.The build quality is very good with the ABS bodied units featuring stainless steel covers and the polycarbonate lenses are also completely sealed with an IP68 rating.Being LEDs the units have a low power consumption and will operate on a wide range of DC voltages from 10-30v DC.Although listed as underwater boat lights these sealed surface mount units could also be used in a multitude of other situations where a waterproof light is required.Good value at this price point!

Even though these are sold as boat lights, they'll find a use in many other areas. Being water-proof i'm thinking of using these as engine bay lights for my campervan or just day lights fixed to the front grill. They work well on 12v (in picture) as well as 24v and give off a bright white light.They come with fixings & gasket, although personally I prefer to use a sealant & stainless steel screws/bolts to seal the light to bodywork, reducing water ingress and help prevent fixing holes from rusting.

Die Leuchten sind von der Größe her für meine Zwecke genau passend. Die Wasserdichtigkeit ist gegeben, da alles Ausgegossen ist.Es liegen kleine Schrauben direkt bei, um sie einfach zu befestigen.Als Verwendungszweck lassen sie sich nicht nur am Boot befestigen, sondern auch im Hafen am Steg für eine Unterwasserbeleuchtung direkt vom Steg, da wir dort eh auch 12V haben, ist das kein Problem.Der Metallrahmen ist etwas scharfkantig und liegt in der Mitte nicht bündig an, dafür gäbe es einen halben Stern Abzug.Es sollte allerdings bei der Benutzung nicht stören, da man normalerweise dort wenn es einmal montiert ist nicht mehr mit den Fingern dran kommt, entsprechend führt das nicht zu einer Abwertung, da es keine halben Sterne hier gibt.

Hier bin ich mal rundum zufrieden.Wirklich Wasserdichte leuchten die zwischen 12 bis 30 Volt betrieben werden können und auch ein schön langes Kabel.Helligkeit ist auch Spitze für Positionsleuchten das sie unter Wasser ja auch gut gesehen werden sollen.Verwenden kann man sie aber überall wo man eben zwischen 12 und 30 Volt anliegen hat.Ob im Garten im Pool, am Boot oder einem Fahrzeug..Ich kann sie auf jedenfall Empfehlen.
