My phone was pretty old, the back was all smashed up and then one day.... the screen was shattered. I couldn't open the phone and it had loads of photos, messages etc that I really wanted.Rather than getting a new screen which would have cost much more, I got one of these gadgets, it allows you to connect a mouse to the phone so you can get in, navigate around and get all the things you need off the phone, which was on its last legs. I have 3 sons who seem to smash their screens every few months so I feel this cable will come in useful for them too. Plus you can use it to attach a memory stick to your phone or tablet if you want to watch films without downloading them and taking up memory on the phone/tablet.

Use it on my MS Surface Go

This device has a micro USB (male) on one end and a USB 2.0 (female) on the other. It allows you to plug an external hard drive or pen drive into an Android phone or tablet. The device works off of the phone's / tablet's power supply and the phone / tablet recognises the external device as a storage drive. It's great for loading up films / music / TV shows onto pen drives when you go on holiday so you can keep your phone / tablet free for all those selfies!This particular device has aluminium housings around the ends so they should last a lifetime!

This lead is superb! It is very well made and finished, with a good thick cable and gold plated connectors. The standard USB end is very well engineered for a snug fit as is the micro USB end. It works extremely well, the whole thing has a quality look, feel and the connectors snap in reassuringly. Highly recommended!I can’t comment on the durability of this lead but I think it will be perfectly ok. It one quality item! I am delighted with it. Buy with confidence!

Working really well. I've tried numerous cheaper ones and all fail or get loose. This ones performed solid. Using on android mobile to covert to full size usb for odb2 diagnostics cable. Highly recommend

Ho adoperato questo cavo USB OTG con un Samsung Galaxy J5 Rev. 2017 per connettere un joypad Ps3, un joypad Ps4 e una chiavetta USB.- Il joypad Ps3 funziona perfettamente con tutti i giochi e sono utilizzabili tutti i suoi tasti, la croce direzionale e le leve analogiche. Dopo aver connesso questo cavetto a quello del joypad, bisogna solo ricordarsi di premere il tasto Ps del controller (per far lampeggiare i 4 led) PRIMA di connettere lo spinotto microUSB allo smartphone, per ottenere che il solo led 1 rimanga acceso fisso, nonché lo spegnimento degli altri 3. Se, invece, il cavo OTG venisse inserito nello smartphone prima di premere il tasto Ps sul controller, il joypad funzionerebbe lo stesso ma i 4 led NON SMETTEREBBERO DI LAMPEGGIARE !- Il Joypad Ps4 non funziona affatto, ma non dovrebbe essere un problema del cavetto, bensì di una incompatibilità di questo tipo  di joypad con lo smartphone.- La chiavetta viene correttamente rilevata come una nuova unità di memoria utilizzabile per qualsiasi operazione di trasferimento files, purché sia formattata in FAT32 e non in NTFS.La placcatura dorata dovrebbe garantire un'ottima resistenza all'ossidazione, rendendo questo cavo molto durevole nel tempo.In conclusione, non ho riscontrato alcun problema, veramente un ottimo prodotto !!!

Ha llegado muy rápido y se ve de buena calidad. Y lo más importante, gracias a él he podido conectar un ratón a mi smartphone, al cual tras mojarse le ha dejado de funcionar el táctil de la pantalla, y recuperar todo lo que tenia en él, ya que mediante este cable puedes manejar el teléfono con el puntero del ratón. Genial.
