I got this as a to-go cable to keep in my backpack so I can always connect to a monitor when I am traveling for work, the backpack gets thrown around and the cable hasn't been damaged and still works perfectly. I've used this for 4k displays with no noticable latency or artifact issues. The signal seems to be perfect, and the connection on each end of the cable is sturdy and tight. I would absolutely recommend this cable.

See I say that this works really good & means it in the sense that yes it works good but until recently I did not know what that port was for all these years. I am really disappointed I did not figure this out a long time ago as I was having trouble getting external displays hooked up for my laptops & here all this time I could get a simple cable & had a good hookup as easy as it gets. The quality is good, the price is reasonable & it could not be easier to hook up so I would recommend this.

It appears to match the DisplayPort 1.4 specs correctly. We are using it at 4K/60 Hertz connected to a MacBook Pro with no observed issues.

Headline is just to note that the USB C port needs to be on the supplying device like your laptop or otherwise, and the DisplayPort end needs to go into the display, like the monitor. I noticed another review was hoping to do that in the reverse, connecting a DisplayPort port on a computer to a USB-C monitor, and that is not how this is intended to work.It works fine though! No artifacts or issues of any kind connecting a Thunderbolt port from a laptop to a high refresh 4K display.

It's a cable. It does the job. The length is very nice, really frustrating when you get a cable and it's like. A foot long. I don't think the listing has the length on it, but this one is roughly ~6-7 ft (I didn't have a proper tape measure on hand, so I had to break it into pieces with a ruler LOL). I'd say about 6ft is a good length for most usecases, so you're good there.It didn't quite work for my usecase, but it wasn't that important anyway. I wanted to connect a USB-C portable monitor to my PC as a third display.
