I thought it was fine, just as described. The leaf is nice and thick and the suction cup works great. I don't think the fish is too impressed. He got it for Christmas and my daughter says he hasn't used it. Well, it is now almost June and Sunrise nearly has the leaf figured out. He is sleeping underneath it. Sorry for the grainy cell-phone picture.

No need to “train” your Betta to use these. Mine lays on it naturally as long as it’s about 3/4 of an inch below the surface of the water. I am raising a picky boi but I am happy to pamper him. My fish is in a 2.5 gallon tank and right now I only have one hammock inside. (They are true to the real life size of a leaf.) I could probably fit both, but’s he is happy with one. The suction works surprisingly well and you can even adjust it underwater. Buy these!

These are cute and have good suction. You can easily change them around and put them in a new place. Our betta fish likes hiding in them! These are a good value and so far are holding up well.

I buy these every few years to keep my bettas happy. The suction cups work great on glass (I presume also on acrylic) tanks. Although some bettas like them, some don't care for them, and in this situation, I use them to hold floating logs in place when my filter running. Since the leaves can separate from the suction cup, they can be easy to thoroughly clean. Then you just pop them back on and you're good. The leaves are flexible/bendable for you to shape them in the direction that you want. Over time, the suction cups do harden and turn white, presumably due to chemical treatments of the water for the fish health. But, you get 2, so you can replace it easily enough.

Bettas hang out at the top of the tank normally due to where they are native from, etc..So in my opinion this is a must have in every tank. I purchased the two pack and found one came folded/bent.. I thought I’d be able to fix it back into the normal shape but it didn’t really work.. Besides one coming messed up I do truly like this product!Other reviewers have mentioned the leaves are hard to get in the suction cups but we didn’t have a problem with that so I can’t attest to that.

These lovely little suction leaves are a big hit with the bettas. They are conducive to the lazy males lurking just below the surface with a pad to hang on so they simply have to lift their head slightly to get a big breath of air periodically. I think placement is important. Keep them out of any strong flow of water and keep them high in the tank, and your betta will love it. I think placing these leaves too low and in to high of a flow ill definitely keep your betta from using them because it defeats the purpose of helping your fish be lazy. :)

I have 2 Bettas in different tanks. My male betta was laying on his Indian Almond leaf a lot, so I knew he would like this and he does. My female betta ignores this in her tank. She hangs out in the small crevices of the the large rocks. I am happy with the leaves though and will watch to see if my female changes her mind later. If you are unsure try an Almond leaf with your Betta first to see if it likes leaves at all

My betta (Waffle) loves this!!! I wasn’t sure if he would utilize it, but I love glancing over to see him resting on it!! I tried the method of place food over top to teach him to use it, but he really just seemed to figure it out on his own. I’d definitely recommend!! It seems well made and it’s nice that it comes with 2 in the pack.

I bought two of these and they have a wire strut inside that has sharp points underneath on both of them. My betta scratched itself on them. These aren't in my tank anymore!
