I purchased this system to replaced failed and obsolete cameras about 3 months ago.These cameras do not have optical zoom like my other ones did and I do miss that some.The good:Setup is easy compared to other cameras.There are a lot of optional features that can help in different situations.The menu system is intuitive and complete.The views are very clear and bright.PTZ works flawlessly.They were easy to mount in different configurations.The "could be better:"WiFi relay (from one camera to another - daisy chain) does not stick. I have one camera that has a poor signal from the NVR WiFi so I relayed it from another. It randomly looses that connection and reverts to the NVR WiFi, sometimes within hours or days or weeks, but it is fairly easy to re-establish.Intelligent detection is pretty stupid, A bare branch moving from the wind will constantly trigger a camera to record, but it will miss someone walking a dog 40' away in the street.3 out of 4 cameras have a slight fish-eye distortion (street is lower on the edges of the view than in the center).Bright lights generate a halo effect on the screen.I have not found a way to manually trigger recording if you see something you want to record. (My biggest disappointment.)1 camera has a dark spot about the size of a pea near the center of the display. I cleaned the lens and it remains. It looks like a brief application of a black air brush on a graphic.None of the issues are a deal breaker for me and I am quite happy with my purchase. For the price point, I think this is a great system.Edited to remove "home WiFi" and replace it with "NVR" (network video recorder) "WiFi."

I recently renovated my grandparents first floor home and wanted to get some cameras put in just as a precaution. These cameras took no time to wrie and set up. It connected instantly to my wifi and gives me really good quality capturing. The ability to put in an SD for each camera was exactly what I wanted. The motion detection is really good, when the chickens escape to the front of the house, I can see them clearly.

Very easy to use would like to understand better and more but can't see anything on Amazon or kittyhok site. Was wondering about direct wire application and wifi extending as I see one camera hels another get more distance and a question about solar charging can I switch to a plug if needed

I purchased this product for my home. It worked really well and then the recording system and monitor stopped working. I reached out to the Kittyhok customer service and never received a response.

This is my first security system and I couldn’t be happier. I wanted something that could go 200 ft to my barn and this system had no issues with handling that. I put 4 cameras up and I am ordering 4 more. The picture at night is awesome, see attached pic on this review. I like the speaker function so I can hear my farm animals. I also like the microphone so I can talk to people or animals in the barn. The mobile ap works great and it is so nice to check on my animals when I am away. Overall I think this is easy to use, great quality, and a great price. Highly recommend!

I had purchased a CamCamp system which turned out to be defective and returned it and bought this. So far, this system is pretty slick considering the cost. Probably more advanced than my outdated Arlo system and has some neat features. There are occasional minor glitches with the App but overall, the systems seem to be great. They continuously record so you don't lose any events and the data compaction allows them to run for several weeks before they would overwrite old data. I think it used about 10% per week with 5 always running cams and one solar event cam.

First off I just want to say this is in no way a solicited review I strongly feel these are awesome cameras. To start off these are not my first security cameras by a long shot . I’ve tried solar, battery powered and ones that require electricity. Honestly I prefer battery but I can see then need for requiring electricity as well. Since I’ve had so many different ones I feel I can offer some good insight to these cameras, first off I’ll start by saying they are top notch! The quality of the actual camera itself seems strong and well made and the picture quality is great, the full color night vision is amazing……I could go on forever but instead of boring you I’ll just wrap it up. These are nice all around cameras with all the bells and whistles one would expect. Make sure to read the reviews and options to find any information you may need to know or feel free to message me. I feel like I didn’t do a thorough job with my review like NVR to keep my files at home, pan, tilt, zoom, freedom to set sensitivity, alarm area and the cameras and NVR work flawlessly. In my opinion a perfect buy!
