SNAP-LOC 1500 LB Dolly RED (USA!) with Steel Frame, 4 inch Casters and Optional E-Strap Attachment

Bought this to keep a 2500 watt gasoline powered generator on. The gen is 15-20 years old, but sees so little use it’s still like new. Weight and lack of wheels has always been its big detractors. I’m sure this cart would support a lot more weight, but wanted an extra sturdy one that rolled well, as in the winter I might need to move unit 50 or so feet to a different location on my property. Best on cement - but with a little care should move a lighter load over gravel or hard packed snow. 2 wheel sizes. I opted for the smaller. Good decision, as the gen is still resting 4-6” off the ground. There’s a nice rubberlike surface and a few protrusions that do well keeping the generator situated. I’ve actually test run the generator while on the dolly for up to 15 minutes and I don’t think it’s budged an inch. I don’t recommend doing this unless you strap the machine down. However, So far I haven’t had to strap it.Rolls super easy on a cement floor. Generator, with a full tank of fuel, probably weighs 75-85 lbs. (Dolly is rated for a lot more.) Wheels went on easily. There’s a cautionary note not to overtighten the nuts when attaching the wheel assemblies. My guess is that if you tighten too much the receiving bolts (molded into the plastic base) might break loose. I proceeded cautiously for that reason and didn’t snug the nuts down very tight. Heck, with any amount of weight on top, there’s no need to apply a lot of pressure tightening the wheels and supporting brackets. They’re not going anywhere.

This dolly is fairly expensive but like they say you get what you pay for, it is very well built, the heavy duty casters roll over carpet with a heavy load easily. I purchased the handle and strap, sold separately, unfortunately, they also are excellent quality, its just a shame they don't sell it as a kit for a better price than buying everything separately. That being said, I am very happy with the fact that it is really heavy duty and can handle what ever I throw on it.

This dolly is exactly what I wanted and expected for the price I paid. Well built, sturdy with good size wheels. I use it to move around 500 liter tanks of mead, and we can do it on a rough concrete floor, no problem. Make sure you put the locking wheels on the correct location for your application - we need to move ours to one side. Good job on this product!

Bought this to move a piano on the hardwood floor in living room... should have purchased sooner since I left marks from previous roller and had to have flooring guys come back to fix... inexpensive investment but so worth the value. Incredibly well made.One word of caution: it is heavy and can be deceiving. Metal reinforced under the platform so it can withstand a significant amount of weight. Piano weighed over 700 pounds.

This Dolly was put through the test. Exceeded expectations! It allowed moving of several heavy items I thought I would have to abandon. Saved me many thousands of dollars!Pro: Solid built product with minimum installation necessary (only had to assemble/attach the wheels) Tested / navigated over multiple surfaces and outdoor terrain all excellent Allowed for moving heavy items that would normally require multiple people with one to 2 persons

Product arrived with 8 of the 16 wheel mounting studs missing, they seem to have a problem with quality control. Returned it for a replacement. I also noticed the casters were made in China, so don't let the made in USA fool you.

Holy crap these things are amazing, we needed something a little more heavy duty for work we moved a very big very tall and very heavy product. We were able to put it on 2 of the dollys and move it with ease. Just simply amazing thank you guys you saved us from having to take the product completely apart and moving it piece by piece.

It's a great product but the wheels need some help brakes get stuck every now & then but you can bend them up with the Flathead screwdriver also the wheels are very strong but really loud i mean loud they should have been rubber but the 4 inch part is really nice its a great product use it alot being a professional mover my wife even has 1 at thr house she uses all the time loves it she mostly uses it as a cart & panel cart but says the same thing the wheels are really loud
