Fence Post Repair Kit - Thickened 11-Gauge Steel Anchor & Stakes to Fix Broken/Leaning 4x4/6x6 Wood Posts (Heavier at 5.47 lbs, 1-Pack)

I was all excited about installing this to hold up a 4 X 4 that had rotted below grade and was causing a fence to start leaning. Then I discovered there was still concrete down there from the original installation of the 4 X 4. Rats ! Anyway. I used a large masonry bit and drilled holes in the concrete. Then was able to bust out and pick up the pieces of concrete with a post hole digger. So really, wound up digging anyway. But this is still a helpful and sturdy product.

My fence is now strong again!I fixed three posts with this, and I'm happy and surprised how well this system works.. *note* If your fence post has concrete around it plan on busting some of it out. I broke out about three inches of the outer concrete to get closer to the rotten post. I used a sledgehammer and a electric demolition hammer. It took about ten minutes on each post to get enough of the concrete out of the way.

Used this to stabilize a 4x4 post near the patio. The fence began to lean but this repair stiffened her right up. I needed a bigger hammer though.

They did the job that I needed it too! It’s a good product for a quick fix.

This item totally depends on your situation. This item is very pricy to repair just one fence post but if one is all you need to repair and you don’t feel like digging up a post along with concrete this may work for you. It is pretty sturdy and fairly easy to install.

I have not used them yet but they are very well made and I may order more.

This set of brackets did a really good job stiffening a couple of post that were teetering. This pulled the entire fence plumb. I did however alter it to bolt two lags through a concrete stem wall. This really did the trick. I would highly recommend this for anyone trying to fix a slanted fence or loose one.

Used this to repair a 4" cedar post that was about to crack. Works as expected.
