First off, I do not write reviews unless a product WOWS me and then I refuse to gatekeep such a product. This completely wows me in the best way! Have been using for just over a week and first thing I noticed is how hydrated my skin feels and how this gives my skin a nice subtle glow. Today I got not one, but two compliments about my skin. The one that really struck me was a co-worker just took a beat and stared for a moment and said, wow, you look so pretty and rested like you just got back from vacation (for reference haven't had a proper vacation in years) and I took as uncritical look as I am capable of, a d noticed wow, I do look more glowy and youthful. If it can do this after a week or sk, then I cannot wait to see the results in a month or so.HIGHLY Recommend! :)

Works great and it’s affordable

has a sticky consistency, but over the course of a week I saw my skin’s texture improve thanks to the hydration and quality. I assume the vegan mucin ingredients worked better for me than snail mucin, so I believe it’s worth a try

Awesome serum/toner/primer for face. It does have slight fragrance but not heavy and it absorbs well. Will definitely order again.

My Metaforet Vegan Mucin 2x Glow Boost Serum arrived in an attractive unsealed box that contained brief instructions for use as well as a list of ingredients shown English in addition to a lot of writing in Korean. The instructions were easy to understand. The product itself is contained in a plastic pump bottle that also has instructions in English along with some writing in Korean. No expiration date is listed either on the bottle itself or the box. The product is clear in appearance and has the consistency of an oil. I applied a small amount to my arm the night before use on my face to check for an allergic reaction, and I did not get any. In applying the product to my clean face this morning, it was easily spread but did not exhibit the elasticity that was described on the information page. I repeatedly pulled my wet fingers away from my face to try to experience that but was unsuccessful. This does not disappoint me particularly, but I did try to duplicate it since it was described that way. My face did feel moist after application, but that disappeared pretty quickly to where there was no really moist feeling at all. The product was totally absorbed and did not leave the feeling that I get from some creams, where my skin feels moist or dewy for a long time after application. To me, that is the one downside of this serum. I prefer the moist feeling rather than just the clean feeling I get after applying this product. My skin certainly does not look or feel dry, but I prefer that moist feeling. Still, I feel this is a quality product and will continue to use it. My face does not feel or appear to be dry, which it would be had I not used any moisturizer.I am happy to recommend Metaforet Vegan Mucin 2x Glow Boost Serum to anyone looking to moisturize without having that moist or slightly sticky feeling remaining after application. A little goes a long way, making it possible to feel like too much has been used at first. It will then slowly be absorbed into your skin without leaving any residue. Another option, of course, is to layer it on top of a moisturizer. I have done this, and I enjoy the way it enhances the effect of the moisturizer.

I love this product. It really does what it claims to do (which you can read all about on it's Amazon product page so I don't have to reiterate what's already written).I've tried those funky snail mucin masks in the past, and while I liked the results, the actual masks kind of grossed me out. When you first pump a little of this serum onto your hand, it has that same slimy feel of the snail mucin. But unlike the mask where you have to leave the wet mucus on your face for several minutes, this product absorbs almost immediately. It dries incredibly fast and is fantastically light on your skin. You really don't have time to get grossed out by the initial slimy texture.During the day, I use it as a serum underneath a moisturizer. At night I use it as a standalone product because it seems to hydrate and moisturize well enough that supplementary products aren't necessary (unless you choose to use eye cream).I know I said I wasn't to write about what has already been written, but I think one aspect in particular should be noted: it does indeed make your skin radiant. You will have a bit of a glow about you after you use it. I usually equate that shine with products that contain Vitamin C, but this Metaforet serum does the trick, too. It's very nice.One thing I really like about this product is the price. For so many benefits, I would expect it to cost upwards of $50 per 3.5 oz. But this is less than $15! That's a steal. And another thing that I love is that it's unscented, so it's perfectly gender neutral.If you can't tell, I am quite impressed by this product. I really love it. You can feel the results immediately. Your skin looks and feels fantastic after using it. Yes, I recommend it.

This has a very similar slimy, stretchy texture and hydration to the real thing. It gives off the same glass skin glow and once it sinks in, it leaves my skin feeling soft and well hydrated! There's hardly any scent to this unless you're really searching for it, it's that faint. Dry skin will still need moisturizer on top of this and it's just enough hydration on my oily skin. Overall, I'm super happy with this and highly recommend this is you're looking for an alternative

This is a great vegan alternative or if you just don't like the idea of snails on in your skincare. It gives you that same boost of hydration as the snail serums. Love that it comes in a pump bottle.
