So I just bought more of these bc I've had them for a few years and they don't leak and the valves function easily. The supplied gaskets are supple and not hard. Hint: before you tighten them, apply a little grease (not oil) to the O-rings, then use a ten-inch pair of channel locks to tighten them snug until they don't rotate and just a little bit more. You do that and you shouldn't need teflon tape and I don't recommend it anyway.

Definitely a higher quality product. Heavy duty design. I’ve tried less expensive water diverters and they just don’t last. This one has worked flawlessly so far.

These worked well to connect a hose to 4 different runs in garden beds.

This design is the real deal, all others are inferior - period. Never again strip off the threading trying to unstick a frozen “Y” from the faucet. Never have cheap plastic fittings break after a few uses. Eliminate leaks at the connection points. 10 out of 10

I needed to add hoses around my yard that I could easily connect. With no precipitation since xmas time (it's now Valentine's Day) I'm doing heavy watering. Which means turning sprinklers on, then disconnecting because of freezing temps at night. The washers are good and prevent leaking. So far my only complaints are the switch which I opened using pliers (my arthritic hands cannot manage these). The switch moved easily by hand after the pliers, but found that I had to use the pliers again for next use. Also not every spout opened 100% - maybe 95%? NBD. Don't leak

The heaviest castings I have seen. They weigh 50% more than the competition and that is all metal. I saw one review where someone complained they were not 100% brass and noted the seals for the ball valves. There is a thin plastic seal around the ball valve between the metal ball and the brass body. If it wasn't there the valve would leak like a sieve. Not a valid complaint from my perspective. Some people need to understand a little more of how things work before they negatively comment on products. Great unit price and fast shipping. Already have two of them in use for portable sprinklers.

This product has several shortcomings. 1.) Beware of tiny brass slivers, wear gloves while installing. 2.) While the valve handle is brass rather than cheap plastic, the screws holding the handle in place can't be tightened so that the screw won't turn with the handle. If the handle is operated frequently, the screw will need to be re-tightened. 3.) You will really need to crank the splitter connection down tight to your water outlet as otherwise it will leak. If this is a new and improved design, I would suggest that the designers try again.
