I have fairly short switchback stairs (8 steps to/from a landing), and just three of these lights really helps increase the safety of these stairs in dim light. I placed one light at the base stair, one at the landing, and one at the top stair for coverage going both up and down. Granted, it's not a lot of light, but it's enough to see the next steps. I haven't even secured the lights yet -- they are just resting on the step against the baseboard -- and they're doing a great job and completely out of the way.

I use the lights in the hallway, on the stairs and in the kitchen to get some extra light and stop falling down the stairs. They were very easy to install and hold very well on different surfaces. If you use them all the time, you have to put them up every week or so. The motion detector responds very well, within a large radius.

I used this in my restroom as an alternative to the blinding main light when needing to pee during the dark of night. The light level is nice but the sensor does not always see my movement and it shuts off too soon.

Cadrim's USB-C rechargeable motion sensor lights are great little gadgets. And at under $20, this three-pack is a great deal. I have an old little house with small closets with no electrical outlets, so this small, bright motion activated light that easily sticks to the wall works great for me.
