Fun for the kids

We gave these to my kid for their 5th birthday and THIS was the present they wanted to open and play with the most! They were able to figure out how to put the dinos together pretty easily with the screws but needed help putting together all of the parts to make the mecha dino or whatever you want to call it. The colors are good, but the raptor is yellow versus the dayglow green shown on the box, no big deal though. The patterns and eyes are painted on well and are not rubbing off. The plastic used is nice, thick, and durable, but the halves come apart without a lot of effort; they do, however, snap back together just as easily. I wouldn't let that deter you though, my 5 year old still loves the dino team!

Really like that this included extra screwdrivers in the kit, since kids are always bound to lose one. Easy and fun to put together. My kids love this toy.

If your kid loves dinosaurs, Transformers, robots, as well as building things, then they are sure to love this toy.The instructions that came with it seemed to be incomplete, however assembly was intuitive, and my 7-year-old was able to figure out how to put it together pretty quickly. Also, the images in the small instruction booklet feature different colour schemes from the actual toys you receive.Lastly, each dinosaur robot is packed in its own bag, so you’re not scrambling trying to figure out which piece goes to which dinosaur. However, each bag contained its own plastic screwdriver, which was more than enough to put it together. Basically, it comes with 5 of the same screwdriver. This would make more sense to me if you were purchasing each dino robot individually, but not when you are getting the whole pack.All-in-all, it took less than an hour to piece it together. It was fun and simple but may be more entertaining for younger kids. I could see myself paying $15-20 for this.

While the idea is cool, kids really don’t want to use the included screwdriver tool to “transform” into one big robot. Had I known you needed a tool to convert these into one, and to make them individual dinosaurs, I never would have bought it. If you are expecting a Transformer like experience, you should look elsewhere.

These are a ton of fun. I honestly thought there was just one robot/dino thing in a box, so I was surprised when I opened it up and there were five. They were very easy to put together, even for my four year old son. The only thing I would change is perhaps a little better markings to say which bag of parts is supposed to look like which dino. Had to take a couple of them apart and rework them to get them to look right. That didn't impact it at all though. We had a blast putting it together!
