The clock itself works fine, but I cannot get the outdoor thermometer sensor ...
The clock itself works fine, but I cannot get the outdoor thermometer sensor to sync up with the clock, and the translation from Chinese to US English on the instructions is terrible.Update (05/10/2018): I finally figured out how to sync the outdoor thermometer. Hold the wave button for 3 seconds with the outdoor sensor a few inches from the clock. I would give it 4 stars, but the English translated instructions are still terrible.

Nice display, accurate, cheap quality, syncing problems
Feels very cheap, the clock on other hand have very good display, i could be mounted to the wall or used as a desktop clock, the clock doesn't comes with a backlit functionality which it is unusable at nigh, it is no syncing with the temperature sensor that come with it, additionally the instructions are not clear at all, the clock doesn't link with the radio tower, the function just blink and blink and does nothing, i have other clock that rapidly sync with radio tower.Update: the seller contacted me and answer my questions and concerns about the product instructions, apparently the clock syncs over morning hours and on an hourly interval in that period, i may have to move the clock to a better location so it will receive the signal properly. For the outdoor sensor there was something loose, the seller offered to replace but i manage to make it work, i have no problem with that. Still feels cheap body, backlit upgrade would be awesome for next version.

Time and Temperature Functions and Appearance are Excellent
I'm very pleased with this clock comparing it with two other radio-controlled wall/desk clocks I have purchased in the past from a competitor. The receiver in this clock for the WWVB radio time signal is dependable, in contrast to my other two "atomic" clocks that often failed to get a signal after midnight when placed in exactly the same location. In the early morning hours when signal reception is usually best, the Glisteny clock attempts synchronization with the WWVB signal at the beginning of each hour between 1:00 AM and 5:00 AM (local time) and lasting between 3 and 7 minutes for each attempt depending on reception. Hourly attempts cease if sync is successful at 3:00 AM. My other atomic clocks poll WWVB once only at 2:00 AM. The changes between Daylight Saving Time and Standard Time have also been very problematic with the competitor's clocks. This is something I will be monitoring very closely for the Glisteny clock come next November, but reports from other reviewers are encouraging (see UPDATE below). The height of the numerals displayed for the time and temperatures (2" for hrs/mins, 1" for secs/temps) are large enough to easily read from across a typical size bedroom if the ambient light is sufficient. The clock does not have a backlight for viewing in the dark, but the battery life will likely be extended as a consequence. The large size of the seconds displayed is especially appreciated if one uses this atomic clock to periodically synchronize the clocks of other audio/video and home automation devices in the same room that must be adjusted manually. The product description states the screen is 7.5 inches but that is measured diagonally. The visible portion of the LCD screen inside the black border is 6.5 inches wide measured horizontally and 3-5/8 inches tall. I mention this merely for clarification. The screen area is ample to display all the information in a very readable arrangement.I have checked the indoor and outdoor temperatures displayed by the clock using a well-calibrated, fast response Thermapen Mk4 thermometer. The accuracy of the temperatures displayed by the clock is very good and well within the claimed tolerance of ± 1 °C. The temperatures measured by my unit typically agree with the Thermapen standard within ± 0.2 °F for both the indoor and outdoor temperatures. Of course, it's necessary to wait several minutes for the clock and wireless outdoor sensor to equilibrate to the ambient temperatures.I may replace my other two atomic clocks in the near future with the Glisteny clock because the addition of outdoor temperature is much more useful to me than the indoor relative humidity display found on the competitor's clock. The seller claims the wireless outdoor temperature sensor is water resistant. However, if you want to provide more protection for the sensor from rain, snow, and wind, I found the La Crosse Technology 925-1418 Sensor Protection Shield with Mount works perfectly well for the sensor supplied with the Glisteny clock. The shield does very little to protect the sensor from solar radiation (as expected) so keep everything in the shade if possible for accurate temperature readings. On the topic of needed improvements, Glisteny should employ the services of a native English speaking technical writer to rewrite the technical documentation that accompanies the clock. The clock is excellent and fortunately simple enough to configure using the existing poorly written instructions, but correct grammar and more understandable sentences would go a long way to impress new customers with the great features and quality of the product.UPDATE (November 4, 2018): The Glisteny clock automatically made the transition from Daylight Saving Time to Standard Time promptly at the expected time without any problem. My other atomic clocks (Marathon brand) failed to make the transition at 2:00am and required a manual adjustment to correct the time. For anyone interested in expected battery life for the Glisteny clock, after running flawlessly for nearly 8 months on one set of AA batteries (Energizer MAX Alkaline installed new), I'm happy to report that the remaining battery capacity is still very good at 80% as measured by a ZTS Pulse-Load Battery Tester .

5 stars for sure!!
The alarm part of this clock is lovely but my purchase was for the clock and the temperature monitor alone. I wanted to make sure I had something that kept accurate temperature. I've had this for almost 2 weeks. I wanted to make sure I had a solid opinion before I posted a review... turns out, I love it. Setting it up was super easy. Reading it is even easier. The number's are nice and big. It keeps track of the time with seconds, indoor temp, day, date, and outdoor temp. It is incredibly accurate. I love that it can be displayed alone with its prop up stand or mounted on the wall. The clock itself takes only 2 AA batteries. The temperature receiveras well. I'm really happy with this and I would most definitely recommend to anyone in the market!!

VERY UNSATISFIED.
Not happy or satisfied with this product. I bought this item for my Mother who lives about 100 miles from me. Upon receiving this clock I took it down to Mom’s to set up. Put new batteries in and set up the data which was not too difficult to do. After about 10 days I got a call that the clock had stopped working. About a week later I was back down to Mom’s with more fresh alkaline batteries and reset the clock. Another call from Mom 7 days later saying the clock had stopped working. Two more times I changed batteries and even brands of batteries, but to no success. Only to conclude that the unit itself must be faulty. Now I find out that I have gone past the 1 month return product deadline. Not happy at all. I thought AMAZON would honor a return/replacement of this defective product...DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM!!!

Frustrating to read as face is so dark, not as pictured, hard to read day & temp, very hard to read the date. Focus a lamp on it
I love atomic clocks and used a couple over several years. My last atomic clock, before it quite completely, kept changing the time or date, then a few hours later corrected itself. After reading the reviews I chose this clock to replace it. After a month I've noticed it has lost the time at least once, then corrected itself over night. However the most frustrating thing is that the face is so dark. Not anything like the clock pictured. We've moved it around to catch the light, but it's so dark the date is almost impossible to read, which is the smallest numbers. Over 8 ft away and plan on walking closer to see the day and temps. The time is large enough to read without any problems. We've focused a lamp on it and it is staying in that area.
