These slip on easy and work really well! I live in Massachusetts and it’s been very icy lately. These have been a huge help.

These Treeresea Universal Non Slip Gripper Spikes work ok, but they're difficult to fit over boots. I got these to wear over my boots when I go outside to feed the chickens in the winter. I usually put them on my work boots when it starts to snow, then leave them on those shoes for the entire winter. It was different to have the spikes only on the ball of my foot, but they've worked no problem. The biggest issue was trying to get the rubber straps to fit on my boots. It stretched the rubbed strap really thin. If the rubber breaks within the first month or so, I'll update this review.

I have ordered these type of ice cleats for my team for many years now, they are simple, safe and effective. also a great option for family too.

I consider these shoes to be "casual" or "light-weight" spikes because the spikes are quite short and only add grip to the front half of the shoe. In a lot of situations, where placement of the foot goes heel to toe, this wouldn't be enough grip.I had another pair of spikes that is mostly chain with a little bit of elastic, and it slides off my shoes as I walk, which is super annoying. I was excited to try these mostly rubber ones, in hopes they would stay on better. I'm worried that the grip over the front toe is a little shallow and could be annoying and slide off, but they did slide on nicely and so far, seem to be gripping nicely. I will update as I get into snow and ice season. Right now, walking around on the carpet, they are fine but it's when things are tugging at it that I see how much I like the fit of spike.These spikes also fit nicely over a lot of smaller shoes, not just these big hiking shoes. I see these being great for getting from the car into a building if the walkway is icy. These grips are bendy and would easily slip into a little pocket or a bag to have ready "just in case."

Wir haben uns diese Spikes für eine Winterreise ins Gebirge bestellt, um für unsere Sicherheit beim Bewandern vereister Wanderwege zu sorgen. Besonders praktisch ist, dass man bei dem Artikel gleich 2 Paar Anti-Rutsch-Spikes bekommt - eins für sich und eins für den Partner, und das für einen bescheidenen Preis von ca. 8 Euro.Die Spikes wurden in einem einfachen Kunststoffbeutel ohne Schnickschnack geliefert. Sie sind leicht und kompakt und lassen sich gut im Wanderrucksack verstauen, sodass man sie immer dabei hat und bei Bedarf einsetzen kann. Sowie mein Partner, als auch ich haben relativ große Schuhgrößen (41, 44). Die Spikes ließen sich bei unseren Schuhgrößen einwandfrei anbringen und saßen auch fest, ohne beim Laufen zu verrutschen oder gar abzukommen (denn sie sind aus Gummi gefertigt und haben einen entsprechenden Griff und verrutschen nicht, besonders an Schuhen mit rauen Oberflächen).Das Laufen mit den Spikes fühlt sich bequemer an, als ich dachte. Ich habe mir vorgestellt, dass mein Gang sich damit verändern würde, denn man würde schon anders auftreten, wenn man einen Fremdkörper unter dem Fussballen spürt. Aber dem war nicht so. Klar ist as Gefühl beim Laufen etwas anders, besonders wenn man sich auf einem harten, steinigen Boden bewegt, wo man die Spikes gut spüren kann (besonders mit Barfußschuhen). Anfangs hatte ich die Befürchtung: Wenn ich damit genau so laufe, wie ohne, werden sich die Krallen unter meinem Gewicht verbiegen und kaputt gehen, aber nach einer halben Stunde habe ich festgestellt, dass die Krallen doch viel robuster sind, als ich mir vorgestellt habe. Nach der ersten Wanderung war ich dann etwas sicherer, dass die Spikes nicht unter meinem Gewischt kaputt gehen, und konnte damit ganz normal laufen, ohne meinen Gang anpassen zu müssen. Ans Fremdkörpergefühl gewöhnt man sich auch schnell, besonders im Hinblick darauf, dass man durch die Spikes viel sicherer laufen kann und mehr Halt hat.Diese Spikes sind zum Wandern sehr gut geeignet, besonders im Winter. Für Profi-Bergsteiger gibt's andere Ausrüstung in einer ganz anderen Preisklasse, aber diese Anti-Rutsch-Überzieher reichen für Hobbywanderer vollkommen aus. Sie geben genug Halt auf glatten oder rutschigen Wegen, ohne ein Vermögen zu kosten und klobig zu sein.Eins muss ich noch erwähnen: Nach der Wanderung haben wir die Spikes nicht ausreichen getrocknet und die Krallen haben etwas Rost bekommen. Das ist aber unser Fehler und hat nichts mit der Warenqualität zu tun. Man sollte bloß darauf achten, dass man seine Ausrüstung pflegt und trocken aufbewahrt.Insgesamt finde ich die Warenqualität, -menge und -funktionalität bei dem Preis hervorragend und kann die Spikes allen Hobbywanderern wärmstens empfehlen.

I bought three lots all as Christmas gifts

I purchased these TreereSea Universal Non Slip Gripper Spikes (2 Pack) for my nephew and myself to use when we go ice fishing this winter. The trail to our ice fishing hut is about 2 km long and is always covered with ice. These should work perfectly to help keep us from slipping and sliding along the trail but they will also come in handy this winter when clearing snow off our driveway.The body of these ice cleats is made of a stretchy TPR material and they were pretty easy to stretch and put on my size 9 US (EU 42) winter boots. The unstretched size is 25cm x 9.4cm (9.84" x 3.7"). There are 5 stainless steel spikes that cover the ball area of the foot. Each of the spikes measures approximately 12.3mm (0.48") in diameter and is 10mm (0.39") high.I would have preferred if there were some spikes on the heel area as well, but at this price point for two pairs, that wold be expecting a lot.Quality seems quite good and they look like they will provide plenty of traction on ice and hard packed snow. 4 out of 5 stars.
