They were thicker, softer and better quality than I was expecting.

I bought these on a whim when they popped up on sale, really didn't investigate, just hit buy. (Unusual for me, typically I hyper-research sh.. stuff.)We have two twin XL Berkeley mattresses (one is 9" thick, the other is 12" ) along with a Leggett & Platt Prodigy 2 adjustable base, making it technically a split king. Everything sits in a very adulty-fancy four post wood and metal frame/headboard. Beautiful! But... sacrifice, for beauty.It might be difficult to understand for people without falling-apart-before-mid-30s-type body, but... I would kill people for my bed. If there was a fire, I might just stay and cremate myself with my bed. You can pry it from my roasty toasty crispy fingers. It cost more than a used car, I will not risk a denied insurance claim rendering me bedless.Dramatic much? Yes. Do I care? No.HOWEVER, sheet changes on this monstrosity of latex heaven is.... A soulcrushing to-do. There are steps, because you cannot reach under the mattresses when the bed is flat and latex is fu... Heavy. Very heavy. SO, those steps take about 25 minutes.TOCHANGESHEETSMy partner sleeps like a blanket stealing face-down burrito. I sleep in carefully face up, trial & error off-zero-gravity deciphered degrees and angles adjusted between my funny bone and my foot bones. I wake up in the position finally fell asleep in. My side stays rather crisp, but he makes a freakin chopped burrito bowl salad and freaks out nightly about his fitted sheet ever becoming un-taut (is that a word?)We have a set of Malouf bamboo sheets that cost $150 and are lovely, on day one only. Then, they stretch out and constantly pop off. Also, two sets of not-so-cheapo sheets from JCP that equally suck at staying on-mattress. The elastic sheet clippy under bed majigs rip said sheets over time and are honestly sort of useless.THESE SHEETS *chefs kiss* just right!Bought two sets, lighter and darker grey. Washed them together out of laziness: didn't bleed. They have stayed in place through several nights of his flopping around nonsense and the top sheet is MAGNIFICENTLY oversized, allowing me some carefully manufactured slack. Pillowcases are huge, and oddly plentiful. They are thin, yes, but I care not. I sew and all the seams appear well managed and finished.If you like DENSE heavy sheets, look elsewhere.If you want generously stretch elastic bamboo fitted sheets which have enough flat sheet to make taquito blanketed humans... Yissssssss

Sheets where perfect.

These sheets are very soft. The fitted sheet does not fit well at all. I have a split king which is 2 XL twin tempurpedic mattresses. They are so big i had to biy those straps to tighten the sheet. The pillowcases fit nice and the extra fold to cover the end of the pillow is nice
