This privacy screen was very easy to install, and fits perfectly on my 14" 2021 Macbook Pro. It allows the screen to be closed and the laptop will actually go to sleep when it is closed (unlike some other privacy screens I have tried). It does provide a reasonable amount of privacy, when viewing off-angle. However, it really detracts from the quality of the screen. The screen is much dimmer with this installed, and if you look closely you will see diagonal lines all across the screen. As a result, I will use this in scenarios where I need privacy, but I won't leave it on the screen all the time.

I usually do not write reviews up after acquisitions from Amazon, simply because I am lazy, but this time I simply could not hold myself on coming to provide a review.This is by far the best product I ever bought from Amazon marketplace. The privacy it offers is incredible, it adhere really well and it is extremely easy to apply.

I bought this primarily as a privacy screen protector, for use on planes and such. Unfortunately the angle at which it starts to protect is fairly wide and thus not very useful for my purpose. It was easy to install, but not so easy to remove and reinstall. Not sure if there are better options out there, or if this is the state of the art currently…. I would not buy again.
