A lovely, high-quality product made with care and skill by American artisans. Maybe cost three times what an el cheapo made in China POS would have cost but fifty times the quality. This product will probably outlast me. And unlike me, it will look sharp the whole way. Highly recommended. Oh, BTW, I did take the advice of another reviewer and ordered one size bigger than what the manufacturer recommended via its sizing chart, and that proved to work out just fine.

This is the best belt I’ve ever owned. It’s probably the most expensive one I’ve ever bought as well but it’s well worth it my experience. I’ve had this same belt for over 2 years now and wear it almost every day for all kinds of occasions. It’s still holding up strong. I just noticed that brass on the buckle is starting to fade and lose its shine but the leather is still totally solid and looks great. The fading in the brass doesn’t look bad either. Very solid leather work and quality of leather.

When the backing on my department store belt started flaking off on my suit, I thought no more moderately priced belts! And only belts of 100% leather. So after a lot of research, I wound up with this Italian leather belt made by Bullhide in America. Excellent quality belt and buckle, perfectly made. Only time will tell, but this attractive belt appears to be as fine as I could’ve possibly found.As to sizing, I went by both methods recommended by the company to come up with the same length. When I received the size 48 belt, it was too long by a full size. It was easy to return, and the size 46 I just received was perfect. This is my experience, and your mileage may vary, but just FYI.

This belt is thicker and therefore stronger than most other belts offered on the market. Most other belts are made out of composite materials and therefore fall apart after minimal use. I was skeptical of the price, but tried it anyway since other belts I had purchased came apart after about a year. This belt appears to have great quality and good looks. I have had this belt about a month now and really like it. I expect it will last a long time.The only thing to be aware of is that because it is a little thicker, you may have a little trouble placing the leading end of the belt into the belt loops on your pants if those loops are smaller than normal (essentially when the belt is double-thickness). I had this minor trouble on one pair of pants, but it was overcome with a little bit of work. It didn’t cause any problems on all my other pants.

As soon as I opened the box I could tell how great the quality of this belt was! I am impressed and I will buy a brown one next! Before making this purchase I went shopping in person, and could not find a that was even close to as good as this one, especially not in this price point.
