very good songbook
In spite of the amusing typo in the title (Best fo), this is a high quality, inexpensive songbook. It has most or all of Tom's greatest songs -- which means some of the best music ever written. I'm still just beginning to work my way through it. Some of the songs are quite challenging. I've been working for weeks on Aguas de Marco (The Waters of March), one of my favorite Jobim songs. It is a lot of work, but I love having a good version of that song to learn from. It is worth the price for that song alone.Haven't tried most of the rest of the songs because I'm so enamored with Aguas de Marco, but I did look at Girl from Impanema. That one had chords that were harder than a version I've used. Maybe it is more authentic, but I like the version I already know better.I can't comment on the rest of the songbook yet. I will say that I am extremely happy with the little bit that I have looked at. And it was cheap!

Great 1st step into playing Brazilian Bossa Nova
If you have a good sense of these songs and a good ear, the chord charts presented in the songs will get you going in learning the wonderful world of bossa nova. The songs are presented much better than you typical online guitar tabs. Worth the price.

What are you looking for?
This book has decent tab, but abbreviated, most songs are condensened to 2 pages, and songs are not in the original key, good if you want to strum along with main riffs.Like the title says "Easy" the book: Antonio Carios Jobim for Fingerstyle Guitar is better for more complete versions.

A good reference for the beginners only
This is a good reference for the beginners only. In some parts, it simply shows the main melody that you can play on two strings. if you want a more advanced or at least intermediate book, you need to get a different reference.

All of Jobim's Hits In Easy-To-Play Format
For my Parkinson's Disease, my neurologist recommended I take up guitar again to exercise my fingers and improve their dexterity. Jobim has always been a favorite of mine, and I used to be able to play most of his hits, like "The Girl From Ipanema", "Wave" and "Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars." These songs and many more are in this great compilation of Jobim's most popular songs. The arrangements are simplified for "Easy Guitar", which is perfect for me or for beginning musicians. It is a softbound book, and it's a great price for all the songs you get. For example, I tried to find sheet music for just "The Girl From Ipanema" from other websites and found the cost to be $8.00-$10.00, including postage. You'll get 14 of Jobim's hits in this one book instead of paying outrageous prices for just one song.

Could be better
Good book, some of the chords aren't exactly accurate to any recording however usableThe rhythms given, however, are god awful. Either you will have to learn them aurally or find some other cheat sheet - not very useful as someone who isn't familiar with this kind of music

Super
Ein wirklich klasse Buch mit tollen Jobim Arrangements für eine Gitarre. Die Stücke sind nicht besonders schwer, jedoch auch nicht zu einfach.
