For camera's that have trouble downloading SD cards
I have a few camera's like my Insta360 and a trail-camera that has trouble downloading files directly to my MacBook without corrupting them. This little tool is perfect for the job. Takes large and micro cards- plus has a USB port (my MacBook has only USB-c) so super handy while downloading vacay pictures. Pretty happy with the quality and useability of this product.

Absolute junk - barely works
This is extremely unreliable and sensitive to how you plug a card in. It certainly works when it actually does, but the rest of the time you could waste 20 minutes of your life re-trying the same SD card/memory stick until this thing recognized it just once. Like me.Attempting to use this reader with an iphone may cause data corruption on previously healthy cards, probably from the intermittent connection, so you can only trust this with SD cards with the lock tab engaged. Unfortunately the full sized SD card slot is the least reliable out of all of them. It's friction fit only.Do yourself a favor and use a wireless connection between your devices or look for a card reader that's function first, fashion last and properly locks SD cards in place.
