unexpected but needed
I thought I was going to be reading a book about Fiona’s witchy rituals and stories of such. Instead I read a book about transformation and acceptance that was needed at this time in my life, my daughters life and my mother’s. It was a gift from the gods I am sure! Thank you!

You need to read it, great book.
If Fiona Horne were a literary character you would dismiss her exploits as improbable and the result of an author’s too vivid imagination, but she’s not, she is a living breathing rock star, witch, commercial pilot, recovering addict, yogini, parachutist, free-diver and so much more. With bravery she writes about all the major obstacles she has surmounted to get to her current happy place in life. Do yourself a favor and read this book, I guarantee you will walk away rewarded.

I'll be thinking about this one for a while...
Personal, passionate, and raw without being too graphic, endearing, such sorrow... Having known the author briefly, it’s an interesting look into the woman, the witch, the girl, the celebrity. Quiet strength and enduring persistence! This book will be an adventure for some, and perhaps an enlightening epiphany for others.

An amazing, inspirational life
This is an honest, open, non-sugar-coated life review. Much more than the story of a celebrity's life at the top, it's about a spiritual journey through the struggles with herself and how she began to find her way to inner peace.

She's doing some great work now
Interesting and well written. But having known her in the 1980's have some doubts about the authenticity of those chapters, so can't help wondering about the rest. Is it an autobiography or just another attempt at self-promotion. She's doing some great work now, so does it matter. A good read probably tempered with a bit of poetic license.

A heartfelt reveal of the genuine Fiona.
I enjoyed reading this autobiography by Fiona Horne. She expressed her pain, weaknesses and strengths in detail. She proves that hard work and determination will get you what you desire. And, there is no age limit to realizing and reaching new dreams. Very inspiring.

I liked it, most of it
I liked it, most of it, in part, can be read in her other books, which are in part autobiographical, with a few contradictions. To sum-up the book: She spent so many years feeling inadequacy to those around her, so she became an over-achiever and people-pleaser. Now she wants her later years, to be part of the natural process, of what it is to be human. Now she searches for peace, and that involves nature; it doesn't lie, it doesn't manipulate, it accepts everything, and it's part of who we are. Otherwise a good read.

Still an inspiration
Once again, a book by Fiona Horne has fallen into my life at the right time. This is an unabashed look into the life of a woman who rode through life's ups and downs, and still managed to inspire and help countless others.More importantly, despite the glam, the fame and the connections, we see a woman who is human, just like the rest of us, warts and all-and all the wiser and inspirational for it.

Such a shame 👎
Such a shame. I enjoyed her previous books but 7 pages into this book, it really feels like she is just bragging about her life. I still bought it after reading the mixed reviews but wish I hadn't now. I enjoy Autobiographies normally but she appears to think a lot about herself in this one. I perservered halfway through but had to put it down eventually.

Ghastly: a waste of money
Pure drivel, I bought this after hearing a radio interview. Should have just listened to that. This is nothing more than self obsessed garbage.

Great read, a fascinating life!
It was an open account of a hard and well lived life. I loved the easy to read style of this story and enjoyed the authors journey. She learnt a lot of life's lessons the hard way and has come out the other side.Personally, it's highlighted a few of the 'signs' in my life that I haven't been taking enough notice of!
