The wooden stacker sorter from Just Bee Kids arrived in a nicely illustrated kraft cardboard presentation box which would be ideal for gifting the toy in. The wooden stacker is packed in situ with everything stacked in order but it is worth bearing in mind that there much protection for the individual elements during shipping, saying this there wasn’t any damage upon opening.The wooden pieces are a finished in a mixture of painted colours and plain wood with painted details and finished with a durable varnish. The pieces offer a range of nice chunky shapes which are very tactile without any sharp edges that could be harmful and the bee’s wing are made from a felt material. The centre pole is attached with an elastic string which is a great safety feature in case of any accidents and the pieces are also large enough to not be a choking hazard. I’m pleased to say the toy came with the appropriate safety marks on the box.The shape sorting interactive stacker is ideal for children older than 12 months and has a gender-neutral theme so would suitable for both girls and boys. It is a great toy for developing motor, coordination and sensory skills and can help with colour and shape recognition as well as hand – eye coordination. Priced at £17.99 at the time of reviewing I think that this is a lovely stacking toy and all the elements are both well-made and finished. It has the added bonus of being very aesthetically pleasing too. It would make an ideal 1st birthday gift – I would definitely recommend.

You need to be very careful with toys for small children - everything goes straight into the mouth. And its also best if the toy is made for a nice warm and forgiving medium like wood. In fact I'd say wood is still the best, and all the modern injection moulded alternatives aren't really as good. They just don't have the spark of joy when you interact with them.This stacking toy is very tactile indeed, and very nostalgic. It'll bring joy and delight to any family with a baby, and unlike obnoxious plastics it won't look garnish when left on the floor after play!

I love that this wooden toy is not only made from the natural brown wood colour but also contains some colours which are attractive for kids and babies.The wooden toy has colourfull rings which needs to be stacked. This toy is educational and teaches about colours, shapes, stacking etc but its also entertaining.Highly recommend it and makes the best christmas or birthday gift for babies and kids.Its well priced and totally worth it.

The My 1st Years Just Bee Kids - Wooden Bee Stacker Toy is a lovely stacking toy with a more unique feel to it.I love the design of this toy with the flower and bee being the aim of the stacking as it's much more fun than just trying to stack basic colours and shapes. With this toy you get the colours and shapes but with an added puzzle element for toddlers to get the picture in line too.I like that the toy is wooden as it's nice not to have a plastic toy for a change. The wood is smooth and not rough in any way so it won't hurt little fingers. There are bits of paper between the shapes when first opening though so it's a good idea to move those before babies and toddlers get to them.The toy feels excellent quality and I imagine it will last a very long time. It is fun and easy for toddlers to play with and even looks nice in children's rooms. I'd definitely buy from this brand again, such a lovely toy.
