a Must-Have!
I am a yoga teacher myself, have taught yoga worldwide in English, Spanish and German. I am based in New York City where I reside. Swami Saradananda's book is so beautifully written that I keep recommending it in my yoga classes. The students who buy it just love this book. I can recommend it to yoga students and yoga teachers alike. Swami Saradananda gives the most inspiring seminars and yoga courses all over the world. The first time I took her inspirational classes is about 20 years ago and was in London. Then I took one of her classes in New York a few years ago. I suggest you get a group together and have her teach one of her most amazing seminars or listen to her speak but if you can't do that right now get at least get her amazing book 'The Power of Breath'. It is for beginners, intermediate and advance levels alike.

Great read, I recommend to all my clients/family/friends
I bought this for my Yoga teacher training but I still use it & it's been 5ish years since I purchased it (Sometimes I'm bad at responding to leaving reviews right away) I love this book though & I take it with me almost everywhere still. Will always recommend. Very informative & great exercises, easy to follow along. Beginner to Advanced can utilize this.

Life Changing Book
The amount of knowledge squeezed into this short book is worth the price of admission. Breaks down every aspect of the importance of breathing from A-Z. Even gives recommendations for certain adverse health conditions. If you are into the occult learning or just overall health & wellness this is a fantastic book to add to your library. The author seems to definitely know her stuff.

Whether you're new to breathing exercises or have been practicing for years, this book is for you. Instructions to each exercise are clear and understandable. The illustrations are helpful, and the artwork throughout the book is pleasing. Breathe in. Breathe out. Repeat.

easiest breath book ever
I have read many books on prana and studied with many different teachers and this book reads very easily and I have been able to use the parables in the classes that I lead as well as many of the visual tecniques. I love this book

DOn't judge a book by its color.
I gave this book a three not because of the content or writing, but because someone that laid out the book screwed up. They put so many colored pages in the book that some you cna't read unless you are in a bright light, Just try to read black text on a dark er green page, or blue, or violet, If you can get past the weird page colors, the book is very informative annd well writen, If the next printing drops the weird colors I wiill give the book a five star rating.

I have wanted to get back into practicing Pranayama for a long time, this book was the perfect catalyst. It is clearly written by a foremost expert in this field. I had also purchased the Author's Mudra (highly recommend) book, so I liked and was familiar with her style of writing.

Good book for new and experienced praticioners
I have practised Yoga for over 50 years. I wanted this book to make sure I was following correct procedure when breathing. It is easy to fall into bed habits. It is an excellent piece of work.

I have attempted to read many yoga books on breathing techniques,but this one is a class apart.It can be useful for a beginner as well as advanced practitioner.many photographs add to readers interest.it could be written only by someone who is not only a seasoned yoga expert, but also know the difficulties faced by a beginner.
