work as expexted
only for wooden surfaces [or any that would normally take a pin or nail ]. There is enough resistance to allow easier movement of the furniture, without sliding around when not intended. I think they would provide ease of movement to most indoor furniture, but there is probably an upper weight limit.

Smooth-moving chairs
bought these to add to the bottom of new chair legs which are wooden. When moving them on a tiled floor they made a lot of noise, now with these added they glide smooth and quiet.They were easy enough to hammer in and I did not suffer any bent pins. I cant testify to the durability of the plastic caps as they have only been on a few days.
