well-made and fits nicely on Mossberg Maverick 88 shotgun. The shot shell holder is easily removed from the saddle by 4 small screws if desired. Sometimes when turkey hunting, less stuff is actually better so I removed the shell holder. The saddle is solid aluminum, but the shell holder is made from plastic. The saddle is easy to install, not too big or heavy and feels very secure. I used it to hold a red dot sight on picatinny rail.

Fits the Mossberg Maverick 88 perfectly seen a lot of YouTube videos saying it scratching the receiver but the V2 fits perfectly without scratching and with the hardware it's fits tightly made of quality material not overly heavy to add a lot of weight and enough room the still utilize the front bead if you mount a red dot that is nice to know you still have a back up I'm particular on quality and looks and I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to add for tactical purposes

This was a PERFECT fit for my Mossberg / Mav 88. Solid metal construction and hold the shotgun shells tight, but still easy to get out. Simple to install by removing 1 pin and 1 screw and replacing them with 2 new screws provided. There is enough room under the picatinny rail to still use the iron sights.

Bought this for a Maverick 88.Mainly for the ability to add an optic,but the shell holder was an additional plus.All 3 mounting holes lined up correctly,so installation was easy. I will say that the fit-up was tight(a great thing),but almost too tight.I put a piece of black electrical tape on each side before i slide it on,or it probably would've scratched the metal.Its made of quality materials.Shell holder holds the shells nice and tight. Would recommend to others!

Amazing quality fits great

Fit perfect and no issues installing like others say. I would not buy for a 20 gauge, to large. I installed it on a Maverick Model 91, it's the clone to the Mossberg 835 ulti-mag.

I got one of these for my Mosberg Security 88, and it fit great. I could not have had a bet fit, and it looks like something that came from the factory. I liked it so much I purchased a second one for another 88 I had. I do have a Mossberg 500 which it is advertised as fitting, and it looks like it would go right on, but I have not made up my mind if I want to do that at this time. Great quality and fit, looks killer.

I got this side saddle for my Mossberg 590 Shockwave. It’s soo useful!! It’s sturdy and good quality. Plus it adds additional ammo carrying capacity for your weapon instantly. Due to its design it’s stable and won’t shift. I thought something like this would be more expensive but it’s not.
