This is perfect when removing your suppressor after use. I don't swap them off of the host much but when I do I'm very glad I have a cover. The material has held up well and hasn't melted or disintegrated at all. It is warm to the touch but not anywhere near the temp without. The buckles still get super hot so you have to be careful to avoid them as well

This suppressor cover does the trick to keep the thermal optical mirage from my Gemtech from impeding my view through my optic. It also protects my silencer, protects me from burns, and protects my plastic table from melting when I forget how hot the suppressor is and I lay my rifle down on my shooting table.I like the rope tail, so that I can tie it to my handguard to help prevent the cover from creeping off the silencer. I’m glad the triglides are polymer and not metal, so that they don’t potentially get too hot.If I have any cons, it’s that the heatshield is separate from the rest of the cover, so that’s two pieces to both install and remove, which is a pain when moving the silencer from one rifle to another. It also has two straps and not three like most covers of this size, but so far that’s a non-issue.

It has what appears to be fiberglass sleeve and is made of heat resistant fabrics. After 60 rounds of .223 in fairly rapid succession, the cover was cool enough to the touch to remove the "muzzle device".
