OKay, so I am lazy. I throw things into the microwave without covering them. They spatter. I ignore until the MW is gross. Then tackle the crud with a vengeance. Well, no more. This thing is genius! It hangs out in the MW, not bothering anybody, until I need a cover. Then, presto. Lower it over the plate. Plenty big to cover even a large dish. Cooking done, just lift it back up and affix it to the top.Just make sure that magnets will stick to the top before ordering.

Bought this product just to prevent splatter in the microwave. Did not realize they had wires inside those black handles. The indentations beside them is where you left the lid off. Heating some soup for a minute and before the minute was up I heard a pop so I checked it and burn two fingers and it left the black plastic at my fingertips. Buyer beware there is no reason why there should be a wire Element in there,it is just supposed to be to prevent splatters.

I absolutely love this microwave splatter cover!!! It so convenient to just lift it up and not have to take it out of the microwave and then find somewhere to store it!! It does a great job of keeping things from splattering and is very easy to clean!! My grandson came to visit and saw it in my microwave and ask about it and then said "that is really neat, my wife would love that", so, I ordered one for them and they do love it!!!!

Works great, neighbor had one from Bed Bath & Beyond and was 14.99 + shipping, I have a small microwave but it fits fine, fits right over a full size plate, the non-magnetic one I had before did not and just balanced on the edge of the plate, this is so much better, glad I found it.

This is a great buy use it every day to cover plates of food it saves having to use wax paper or other coverings my microwave has a round rotating piece it works right on that not sure about ones that dont turn might want to check on that im planning on giving some gor gifts!!

Simple idea 💡Best invention ever!!All these years I've used paper towels to cover dishes and bowls in the microwave. This cover is great. The magnets work to hold it up until ready to use. Then just drop it down over bowl/plate. When finished, just wipe it off and put it back in microwave and let the magnets hold it til ready to use again.I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!!!You will not be disappointed.

I don't know why it took so long for something like this to be designed and made, but it's awesome and practical. It keeps it out of the way inside the m/w. and it's big enough to fit over any dish. This version is much cheaper than in the stores by about 1/2. Great purchase.

This product is great. It just attaches to the inside top of the microwave and is there to cover foods when needed. Otherwise it stores inside until needed.

I purchased this item and was initially very happy with it so I bought another one for my sister in law. Today while in the microwave after 30 seconds it started sparking . Thank God I was in the kitchen or else it could have been set on fire. It was super scary and disappointing. I used it another time and I started smelling smoke when I opened the microwave this is what I saw. It was on for 2 mins

Love the magnets, keeps it out of the way when put stuff in the microwave.
