Steepletone SRP025 2 Speed Record Player with Detachable Speaker - Red

I brought this item for my 15 year old daughter based on previous reviews from Amazon buyers. We are both thrilled with this product. It plays my old 80's LP's and 45's brilliant but she has also brought her own new chart records and she loves it. Ok so the sound quality isn't like her Sonos but then I didn't expect it to be, but it has a tone control on it and it isn't tinny or screechy and sounds much better than I assumed it would. The carry case is great as she packs it all up, takes it to her grandparents and then listens to their old stuff (Buddy Holly, Frankie Valli etc..........) The lid is the speaker unit so no need to carry speakers around with you!! We have brought a replacement stylus just in case, that was easily ordered via Amazon. If anyone is in doubt about buying this product then read all the reviews as we did and we think our little Steepletone is GREAT!!

I like this record player it looks very good and the sound quality is pretty good for the size the only down size is to me that the record does not stop at the end of play and it is very difficult to lift the arm up without scratching the record because there is no room for manouvre I find I am having to switch the unit off before I can change the record and also all the connecting up like having to connect the mains cable and connecting the speakers which are in the lid all takes time when the player has been put away

I'm completely new to vinyl and had no idea on record players. I spent hours researching, reading guides, watching YouTube videos and so on. I also didn't want to spend more than £50 as I'm only dipping my toe into the vinyl water.The product was spot on according to the description and whilst the speakers aren't the best quality, they are listenable. That said when I hooked it up to my sound bar and amp - blown away and you still get the vintage vinyl sound.It was dead easy to setup, instructions are very clear and due to the size very easy to store. Whilst I don't have anything to compare this to, I'm delighted with the purchase and would highly recommend.

Already brought one and loved it so much got another. Brilliant for a record fan who just wants something small to play some music, and the sound is great too.Found it works a lot better too if you just stuck a 1p on top of the head to give it extra weight.

The only negative thing about this record player is a personal preference no arm assist lever but its small compact easy to use sounds great and it can go louder than you might think I highly recommend this item.... I even weathered it so now it looks years old

Yes it isn't this and it isn't that ... but for £24.95 you really can't go wrong with this excellent portable systemThe sound is decent it is easy to transport and is simple to useIf it lasts just a year or two then so be it, I'd buy another one ... it perfectly supplements my main system and does all you could ask

This is a lovely looking piece of kit. It is compact and tidy but opens up to a lovely turntable and speaker.We leave ours open on a sideboard with the speaker behind. The sound is not overly loud but of very good quality and the player works well.It is a lovely thing to have and the kids were enthralled by it. We love it and it was super value and quick delivery.

So I was worried when I bought this because you never know what to expect.In my opinion this is a lovely record player and looks very retro -sound quality is good has a good amount of volume. I bought a second one for my dad and he loves it too I highly recommend this I think it's great
