Was exactly what I needed.

I like this cover because it is thicker than most window air conditioner covers and being insulated makes it a nicer cover to use in North East winters. It was very easy to put on the outside of the unit and to strap securely into place. I bought 2 foam insulated panels that I put on both sides of the air conditioner for both the outside and the inside in order to provide extra protection during the winter months.

After the day of our installation our bedroom was much warmer during winter months!

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this cover. It is really thick and actually looks like it's weather resistant and will properly protect my ac. I have had a really hard time finding a smaller cover because I just have a little window ac for my living room - this actually fits the bill! The straps are very effective and have a great design - not the normal teeth that shred the strap or friction that continuously slides over time - it's a highly textured piece of metal that I have 100% faith will keep the straps in place the entire winter without damaging them, no matter the weather conditions. I will update my review if anything occurs during the winter, but I think it will do fantastic. I even think I'll be able to use it for years to come, instead of the gigantic practically disposable covers I've gotten in the past. I highly recommend!
