I got this on prime sale and it is a good quality built, feels solid in hand.Lighting candle is a breeze, though it can deposit some carbon on the electrodes and it is better to clean it immediately after. I found it working even with some amount of carbon on the electrodes!

I had this product prior and it worked great. I saw this on sale I bought two. I do recommend this item. You don’t matched anymore. It charges pretty quickly and holds a charged pretty.

I've seen these for years but never bought one until now. The arc lighter is perfect for lighting my BBQ grill and since it is rechargeable I'll never be caught searching for a lighter that works or matches. I can't believe how inexpensive these are for how good they work. I've already ordered more to have around the house. I may put them in my vehicles as well since you never know when you might need a light.

I thought having a long handle on this lighter would make it easy to use but the button you need to hold down to light the lighter is close to the flexible reach tip. This in turn has me keeping my hand too close to burners when it ignites the BBQ and I'm feeling the heat. It had a little trouble lighting a new wax covered wick candle but worked much better on a used one. You only have seven seconds to get something lit without having to push the button again. At least I can save on not having to buy butane but the design of the placement of the button is a bummer.

The media could not be loaded. It ignites things using an electrical arc that spans between 2 electrodes making it wind proof. It has 4 LEDs that indicate battery level for both charging and discharging. It also includes a USB ''C" charging cable but be aware! the instructions say to not use a fast charger as this could damage the lighter. The down side. is that whatever you want to ignite will need to fit between the two electrodes unless it's some type of a flammable vapor or gas. Also the description calls it a BBQ lighter but unless it's a propane BBQ it may be a little difficult to get some charcoal fired up.

I had seen reviews about this making a strange noise. I didn't notice it, but my girlfriend and dog definitely did. I was asked to "stop" every time I went to test it.She wasn't even looking at me when I first pushed the button and her head hard jolted towards me wondering what I was doing.Outside of that, which may or may not bother you or those around you. It worked to light my wood wick candle as well as my scented candle. I did not get to try this one on birthday candles.
