That was the mindset of our designer when she transformed our iconic hybrid sandal into an open-toe, active wedge sandal with a women's-specific fit and slip-resistant grip. The Astoria West Open Toe Sandal for women is built off KEEN’s traditional wider footwear form. No pain in my heel
I needed some sandals for a holiday that would not cause my Achilles heel to flair up. Usually I wear trainers to help the situation but going somewhere hot meant I needed sandals. These were fabulous! I did a lot of walking whilst away and had no issues. They were extremely comfortable and supported my feet perfectly. I’m still wearing them now I’m home.

Fit and comfort brilliant
I love the adjustable straps which ensure a snug fit to stop the sandal slopping around. The colour is so cheerful, I don’t do dull. All in all a very comfy sandal for my summer walks. It’s not often the bigger size gets the half….this fits fantastic instead of having a nine, I had the eight and half. Brilliant. Thanks for providing the elusive extra half size.

Keen Sandals
Like the sandals but I usually wear a UK size 6 and these Sandals were a little too short. I exchanged for a UK size 6.5 and they are the perfect length but sadly a little too wide. I have to tighten to the limit of the Velcro. Would be great to have these in a slim fit.

Excellent quality
A bit expensive but excellent quality and sturdy. This is a serious sandal for serious hiking, so not light but looks beautiful and walks the walk !

Very comfortable BUT buy half size larger
Lovely colour as a neutral for summer and seem comfortable from trying on with nothing to rub blisters or catch. I have wide feet and the adjustable straps allow for a personal fit.I returned size 5 and re-ordered half size larger as my toes were right at the end of the shoe, I was so pleased that there were half sizes, often this isn’t the case for sandals.Only down side was having to pay for postage.

Keen sandals
Love these sandals. I buy Keen shoes for the support. I have two pair of sandals and some walking shoes. Love them all. I usually wear a 7 1/2 but found I wear and 8 in these shoes. I love the toe room in the waking shoe they are tight right now but as I wear them will loosen up. The support is fabulous. The sandal has all kinds of straps to tighten to your foot and open toe.

Maximum comfort
Extremely comfortable. The sturdy bottom helps me keep my balance while still being cushioned enough that my knees don’t hurt. The strap can adjust narrow enough that the Velcro still catches and I am not having to cut it. I can wear these all day without my feet hurting. The Color is fun too!

these rubbed and caused blisters when wet
I already own the covered toe version, and wanted an open toe for a vacation. These were worn in the water along the beach, once wet they took way too long to dry, and rubbed in several places causing blisters. Once dry, I could wear them again with bandages.

Very comfortable, good fit, Quality shoe
I have Planter Fasciitis, and these shoes are wonderful for my feet! The extra lift and cushion in the heal makes a huge difference. Good quality, I wore them all summer and am still wearing them to walk around in the house this winter. They are easy to slip on and easy to clean. I will definitely be buying another pair for next summer!
