I purchased these strips to put on the cupboard doors in the hallway as there was quite a large gap under the door which was causing me a few problems, I live in the country with a farm behind my back garden, I also have 2 cats and they love nothing more than bring me presents, if they bring me a present while I am asleep they end up playing with whatever they have brought in i.e - mice, voles, young rats and shrews - on way too many occasions these furry critters would end up in the cupboards because of the large gap, occasionally the mouse or vole has managed to stay alive through their ordeal so I have been able to release them but most of these poor things are dead and if anyone has had the pleasure of a dead shrew in their house they will totally understand that the odour omitted from these tiny little shrews is one of the worst smells ever. I needed to find something that closed the gap and was easy to install as I am confined to a wheelchair, these strips do everything I needed them to do, they are a good depth, they are easy to install and once they are firmly stuck they stay where you put them and they are a great price.
