We bought this comforter over a year ago - and I've loved it since Day 1. Every time we stayed at a hotel, it seemed like we loved the bedding - so I looked for one to give us a hotel getaway at home. And this is it! We also live in Texas, so down comforters are NOT wanted - this one is a great weight, neither too hot or unsubstantial. It also looks great - nice and puffy. It does take 2 turns in the dryer to get all-dry, but I haven't tried taking it to a laundromat with a larger dryer.

Sadly, the prime shipping is the best thing about this order. I purchased this only because it was “oversized”. I measured before ordering to ensure coverage of at least my mattress (king). Sadly, it does not cover the left and right sides. The length is short 1.5 inches (only 96.5 instead of 98), the width is 1 inch short (109 instead of 110). The “boxes” are not uniformly sizes.

I shopped forever for a duvet that would actually fit a cal king bed. I think I got the various reviews confused in my head as this arrived and I was super sad it was so thin. I stuffed it in the dryer on low heat to fluff - not fluffing happened. Decided to try it out since the overall size was great. My dog decided she didn’t like it, and less on it within hours of making the bed. I washed it (twice in my front loading washer to make sure it was clean) dried on medium hoping for the best and let it hang to dry for the day. Same pupper decided to take the duvet for a walk, so we Re-washed and AGAIN dried and hung out to dry (she clearly hates this duvet). Once dried I remade up the bed and we settled in to sleep. Ok, it may not look as fluffy as I hoped, but this think is great. Nice weight to it and perfect warmth level for our southern CA winter evenings. Not sure how it would do in a colder climate but for us, it’s perfect.Sizing is great other than finding a duvet cover that fits it. I have two squares of duvet for each side of the bed and the foot to hang down which covers out extra thick mattress.I marked down starts because it did arrive a bit dirty I think from the packaging processs and that it is thinner/flatter than advertised. Marked stars up for durability in wash and drying and all around tuffness to puppers.

Had an oversized Duvet cover from Dania that my IKEA comforter did not fit into without leaving inches on all sides. Found this comforter and it’s amazing! I love that it has corner loops bc my Dania Duvet cover has ties on the inside. This holds the comforter in place. As far as dirability goes, it’s too new to tell. Look and feel are just like down, minus the pokey feathers! A great deal for the price point and you are not sacrificing quality at all! I’ve spent way more money on comforters in the past and they were not worth it! This comforter needs a little time (like they all do) to fluff up a bit. It’s not a heavy comforter, more light weight but plenty warm for Seattle weather and our inside heat set at 60 over night.Great deal, great price, great product.

I bought this a few months ago and waited till I washed it a few times before I did a review. It holds up very well in the wash, did not clump or fall part and it looks great. It's not to hot or not too cold to sleep with. I will be buying another one for my guest room.

As I was washing this comforter today, I decided to write a review. It has been 2 years since I purchased it. We have a small poodle mix that sleeps in our bed so I wash it approx every other week. I did not expect it to look this good because of all this washing. I am amazed at how well it holds up! And no, I didn't get it free, I paid for it;)

I ordered the oversized King duvet. Great coverage of our California king size bed!! This is a very well-made duvet and I love how light it is. Since it isn’t super bulky, it can actually fit in our front load HE washer which means I don’t have to lug this to a laundromat or dry cleaner (huge plus). It’s still quite cozy and warm despite the lack of bulk which is great for me...not so great for my husband who is a hot sleeper (pun intended). But he says he doesn’t mind this. I also like that the corners have the loops for the duvet cover to be tied to. My only qualm (which isn’t directly a problem with the duvet) is that it’s incredibly difficult to find duvet covers that accommodate its oversized dimensions. It would be nice if the manufacturer could branch out and produce/sell covers that fit their oversized line of duvets.

I debated spending double this amount on the popular online direct-to-consumer, Buffy. The Instagram ads just got me. But I also just bought a house and spending way less is ideal. So anyway, I pulled the trigger on this one. It fits perfectly in my west elm duvet cover, is nice and cozy and was really just a nice surprise all around. If you’re debating, go ahead a snag it! I might buy a second one to replace the ikea duvet insert which is not that great after 5 years of washing.

It’s warm but light weight. Our bedroom tends to get overly warm so comforter needs to breathe. If it stands up to laundry/ dry cleaning, we will definitely order another one. It even has loops at the corners so it can be tied in place if you use a duvet cover. 😀😀😀

I was expecting it to be heavier based on other reviews and discription. It is a very lightweight comforter, almost too light. It does keep you warm but on really cold Canadian Nights it leaves you cold.Also the picture is very deceiving, it just fits a standard king size bed. Not very much overhang, that was also very disappointing. I guess they put a king size comforter on a Queen in the photos.

I purchased an oversized duvet insert recently. When the order arrived I immediately noticed that the product was not packaged in an amazon standard box. A picture of an oversized king duvet was pasted on top of the plastic wrap. After I removed the plastic wrap, I noticed that the dimensions and the brand of the duvet insert was incorrect. It was a smaller size with a different brand. Refer to the photos attached.

Love it! I find it very comfy and warm it’s been as cold as -43 Celsius in the past week and I was warm with that and a sheet on my bed and we only leave the heat turned to 21 degrees Celsius in our room. My husband wishes there was a bit more weight to It though So we will probably purchase a weighted blanket

It is warm probably not good for summer
