Perfect for small amounts of homemade paint
These little containers are fantastic! So far, I have had no issues with the couple I have used. I make my own paint with mica powders and crystalac. Since most my projects require such a small amount of paint, and usually my own created to match colors, these are a great option for storing the excess for possible future use, rather than just tossing. When I mix paints it's small enough to be useful, but always slightly more than what was needed, and when I have to toss, it adds up pretty quickly how much I've wasted. These containers help cut waste down. I've thought about using these containers for homemade beeswax lip balm as well, and I think they would be a great to-go container for a purse or pocket, if I did. They are also big enough to store little gems or beads if you only had a couple odd ones, and I may purchase more in the future for projects that leave only a miniscule amount of materials left over. Quite honestly, though they are sample containers, these definitely have a huge list of uses, outside just sample cosmetics, that they can be useful for. My paint is one of them. Overall, happy with the product. There are a ton of them as well, which, for me, should last a good while. The quality is decent, and I like the all clear look for me to see into them without having to pick them up. All around, this is an item I would purchase more of if needed in the future. Very happy.

Little, useful, cheap
So, I dunno what other people are using these for, but I do a lot of work with computers, and I have a myriad of small parts. Everything from tiny screws to random microSD cards and jumpers from really old machines. I've got various containers meant for them, but, honestly, most of them either don't seal or are a pain to them in or out of. These resolve both problems. They seem to be targeted for things like Lip balm or small amounts of makeup, and I suspect they would work well for such things... But as small containers to toss random PC related hardware? They are great. They screw closed, and seal tightly.. I haven't tested them, extensively, for water-tightness, but putting a few quarters in one (so it would sink) and tossing it into a full sink, 15 minutes later, when I opened it, it seemed to still be totally dry.Are they extremely strong? No. They are plastic. But they are tough enough that I don't worry about dropping a few in my pocket with my keys; for me, they are a great way to keep small parts handy, in a way that lets me just grab a container of them quickly -- I have better than a dozen microSDs in one in my pocket now, and space for a lot more. (I also keep another filled with a 'Migraine coming on' assortment of pills, in the opposite pocket.)I'm sure there are lots of additional uses other people have for them, but, from my perspective, these are a whole bunch of useful, little, tightly sealing, organizing containers, and using them satisfies my OCD urges wonderfully.

Great Value, Smart Type of Plastic to Lower Cost
Points:+Great for a bug collection… or ointments-Scratch easily+High and affordable value, 60 pcs.+Great reusable way to pack ‘travel size’ amounts of your hygiene products+Screw top lid fits well and secures nicelySummary:So I originally purchased the MAQIHAN sample containers for well… bugs. I’m trying to teach my nephew the wonderful world of insects and you know what? These tiny little jars are the perfect size. I know that won’t be the use most people intend for these. Considering that, I also found they do also work nicely for packing a ‘travel-sized’ amount of my hair pomade, beard balm, or face lotion. They’re also very much reusable with a good soap and water rinse. To be balanced, I always try to include something critical of the product. I found that the plastic scratched quite easily. However, I’m not exactly planning on displaying these so I definitely don’t mind that at all really. When compared to other similar 5 mL sample jars (typically acrylic ones) these do appear to be about average-high value. Compared to others, there are 60 pisces in this pack at a very reasonable price. When compared to travel-sized options for common hygiene products, i’d consider the value would be closer to the high end.Description:My approximate external measurements were 0.58” diameter and 0.65” tall, with the lid and base a single piece weighs 0.16 oz. when empty. The internal space measures in at a 0.255” diameter and 0.96” height, the volume is indeed 5 mL for each piece. Polystyrene plastics are great for make-up, hair gels, shampoos/conditioners, soaps, and so on as they’re not very reactive to acids/bases. Do be aware that acetone can degrade this material so don’t use it for storing nail polish remover.

So great for small medications
I wasn’t sure if these MAQIHAN 60Pcs mini Sample Containers with lids would be too small for my purposes, but they actually are perfect for my needs.I placed small tablets in them, which I need to take it night; I put the initial of the name of the medicine on the top of the jar, so I know what is what. I can also track how many tablets I have left and what I’ve taken and what I have an on any given day.I’ve also placed small amounts of creams and ointments in them to take on trips, so I don’t have to take very large containers with me. They really are quite functional. The only thing that would’ve been nice is if they could’ve stacked more steadily one on top of the other. But I’ve come up with a workaround: I stack them all up inside a much larger prescription pill bottle, and that way I can keep track of where all my little jars are at all times!
