Review sourcing
For the price advertised here the value is not there however, if you shop around the value can be realized. I had to be strategic with this review. Otherwise, Amazon would not approve it. Hopefully you can read between the lines.

Great light for the price especially, pen opening mechanism is bad
For the price I really like the pen and the light it produces. My issue is that you rotate the front of the barrel to extend and retract the pen, but that ALSO unscrews the whole assembly. Often when I try to close the pen, it won't retract the head at all. A VERY weird design flaw. I hope they make a new version that fixes it. Though maybe I have the v1? I can't tell at all...

Very useful
This is a very useful item, the refills are fairly cheap and it it a very solid construction. I particularly like this type of torch as it is easy to carry and instantly ready to use. The very slight downside is that sometimes I find that as the button is on the side it has switched on in my shirt pocket. I don't give 5 star reviews.
