She can use it on her runs to help check her times and get a good visual guide to help encourage her. Its pretty easy to use once you realise how to clear the previous recordings. Press the right hand top button 4 times (start/stop) and then press the left button once (split/reset) to reset the timer back to zero.Its a nice big display so is easy to read whilst on the move and hangs around the neck from a lanyard.

Stopwatch stopped working just outside of return window

Not as straight forward to use as the other reviews suggest, but once you’ve read the instructions it’s fine.The recall button cycles through the fastest lap and average lap time before it gets to telling you the lap times and recall times. And even then you have to use the start button to cycle through that, not the recall as you would expect.

It is nice to have a stopwatch that is just that and not have a load of unnecessary features that just pump up the price and potentially create confusion. This does just what it is supposed to do so you are not paying for features that you will never use.Operation couldn't be simpler with the added ability to split the time so if you are running laps, you can record a time for each lap. Additionally, you can pull up the fastest, slowest and average times.Of course, if you are using to time something that doesn't have an easily identifiable end such as the last person out of the building during a fire test evacuation - will somebody else appear and become the last person - you can use the split function to record the latest guess at a final event.Finally, it is waterproof and it does float so whether you forgot to take it out of your clothing before you washed it, stood out in very heavy rain or you dropped it in a stream, it will still work without water getting to where it is important - water does get to the back of the switches but only where it is mechanical, the electrics are sealed out of the way of the water.
