Only used for two days now. I did a few tests on this particular shade of blanket to see how well it was made. I ordered 3 different shades with a total of 8 and will let this suffice as the rating for all unless I get news of problems with the remaining amount as they will be gifts.I first opened the plastic zippered bag it was sent in and immediately put it in a dryer to see how much "lint" it would expel. I only ran the dryer in fluff mode so no heat was applied. It surprisingly released none of the material you may expect from a sewn blanket of this nature.I then washed it per the tag instructions and it was hung out to dry on a rail as the wind was blowing slightly, and it dried quickly. I saw no loss in the initial appearance when pulled from the bag such as patchy loss or bunching after it was dried. It looked the same as I initially received it after washing and drying.It was time for the final test, to see how warm it actually was. The weather outside was, I believe, in the low 40 range, so I turned off the house heat and covered myself through the night with only this blanket to see how it retained heat. The temperature was essentially at 63 degrees Fahrenheit in the room at the time it was removed and although the room was chilly, I was not. I had to come out from under it because it held the heat so well.The edges are sewn into the base material which should avoid fraying anytime soon as some blankets using a separate material for an edge hemmed border often do.The tests were successful.It may not be the most expensive blanket sold here on Amazon, but it does the job well. I hope the recipients of the remaining seven will like theirs as much as I liked the one I tested. If this one tested is any indication of the other colors I ordered, I will not receive any complaints.

So soft!! Like a cloud. My kitty loves it. She sank right in and disappeared.

If you like little pieces of fluff all over your house and clothes, by all means buy this blanket. What a mess! After weeks of cleaning up after this piece of junk, I still have people at work picking pieces of fluff off my clothes. Don't waste your money.

Very Disappointed!! SOMETHING has definitely changed with the way these are produced. Look at the picture. New one is NOTHING like the old ones I ordered. Old ones are soft fluffy fur like very awesome blankets... The 2 new ones I ordered are horrible not fluffy matted down not fur like not soft like the old ones. I think I will be returning...Very disappointed!!!

This was purchased for my cat...I had previously purchased a white sherpa throw similar to this one; cut it into 4 squares, and alternated it as a cover on her Cat bed. It just got so dirty I wanted something that wouldn't stain. So, I purchased this one. I cut it into 4 squares and it immediately shed multiple tufts of material everywhere. This is the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5. MY CAT LOVES THIS BLANKET! I'll re-review it after I wash them, but this is the softest, fluffiest, earnest throw I could ever wish for; even though it isn't being used for NORMAL purposes. My cat Izzie gives it 5 stars!

This is a nice throw blanket but the description is misleading. It says "Tumble Dry Low" but the tag on the blanket says "Do Not Tumble Dry". I machine washed in cold water and tumble dried it on low and it came out fine. No problems whatsoever. It's very soft and warm but not heavy. I'm pleased with this purchase.

This is a nice sized, super fluffy throw. It did have a slight odor when unpacked, probably from the plastic casing. I put it in the dryer for 5 min. with a Snuggle dryer sheet, which fluffed it more and took away the odor. Very pleased with this throw. It’s hard to find a solid black in the shops. It’s not large enough for Queen sized bed blanket or maybe it is, but a great throw for on top of the bed or sofa. And adds texture and warmth to the room.

I wanted something really soft and easy to care for! This blanket is it! Super super soft and very warm!! Makes all my kitties come make muffins on it and sleep!!As of 9/11/19: I'm editing my review for this blanket. It's awful. It did not hold up to being washed and with children and cats I needed that. The blanket became a horrible texture and is no longer soft and is just an awful blanket

Doesn't seem like great quality for the money. Very lightweight and it leaves little pieces of fabric everywhere. Wasn't worth returning but I wouldn't buy it again. The pic is very deceiving, it's quite small. Guess i should have checked the dimensions.
